I liked Eric Bana as Bruce/Hulk

Enjoyed Norton as Bruce/Hulk

****ING LOVED RUFFALO

Marvel needs to fast-track his hulk movie, with whedon making DAMN well sure to get this attempt right. He really made it his own.

I havent seen the movie but i agree with everything except the bold. They need to take there time and do it right instead of fast-tracking it.

And now Mr. Ruffalo is trending in twitter, with so many people talking about how awesome his Bruce Banner is. ;)

Marvel is definitely going to make a Hulk movie now. Ruffalo has turned A-list because of the Hulk, and the Hulk is a cinematic giant now. 2014 should be the next Hulk movie! Whedon should definitely be the producer for the movie. We need a director and writer with good humor since the audience expect that from the Hulk now.

I haven't seen Ruffalo's Hulk yet, but I wouldn't mind if they made the second 2014 movie about the Hulk. Maybe that's why they haven't announced yet which character it'll be about--they were waiting to see how audiences responded to the Hulk in TA.

I'm going to say the Hulk works so well in the Avengers because he is in the Avengers. The audience loved him in my theater. But...a solo film?

I still feel the Hulk characters lacks any development. There were several scenes that were begging for him to say something...anything...and he once again does nothing but growl. That's fine when you've got so many interesting characters around him. But try that again in a solo movie and you'll get the same problem again....bored audience wondering why they are watching a movie about Bruce Banner.

It depends on how well put together the solo film is. It would have to be Story and character driven. There needs to be a large cast so that Banner and Hulk have people to interact with. The action sequences need to be story driven and layered through out the movie. Each action sequence needs to be better than the last. The story shouldn't just revolve around Banner and his woes. It has to be about something much bigger than just Banner and the Hulk.

The Hulk totally stole every scene he was in. The audience went NUTS for him. It was great! And Ruffalo proved himself to be the best Hulk yet, in my opinion! Wow, to think I was initially bummed when Edward Norton announced he wasn't going to be in this ...

I say I'm all for a Ruffalo Hulk movie, but the Hulk is a tough character to pull off solo. Marvel needs to take their time with this, if they decide to make another movie.

Can we all agree that the Hulk should have had 2, 3 or 5 times the number of lines in the movie?

For example...
After he catches Iron Man...something like "Thor say metal man need help...so...HULK HELP!

Not a chatty Kathy, but definitely more lines.

You know, I was thinking that if the reception has been positive enough, and Mark Ruffalo has stated he is willing to reprise the role, they should make a sequel to The Incredible Hulk, but amp up the heroism aspect of the character. I am interested in them flashing back to that shack in Canada at the end of The Incredible Hulk and what set Bruce Banner off, perhaps introduce Wendigo as the next villain? We all know that it wouldn't have been Wolverine since Fox still owns the X-Men rights.

i vote semi attractive amadeus cho. That way, he has someone to work against, and girls will probably swoon.

I wonder if some of the *holes that gave MR a hard time when he was cast are feeling an ever-so-small pang of guilt?

ruffalo's revelation at the end.

want to know my secret?

... one of the best scenes. and it led to the circle shot after,
and with masterful scoring,
i felt goosebumps. one of THE moments for me in the film.

I was thinking that earlier, could be a possibility, at the same time though they do need to get other characters out there.

Eh, I don't know. His dialogue, or lack of, didn't bother me.

If anything, maybe some words here and there, but not sentences like the one you've done. Maybe a 'smash', shouting a name maybe, but I honestly think giving him full sentences wouldn't be the way to go.

I do think that is the way to go. The Hulk need to talk and have complex lines. For god sakes if Guillermo del Toro where in charge of a Hulk movie, he would have the Hulk speaking just like all the rest of his monster creations. I just can't understand why people don't think the Hulk can speak or communicate with people in complex ways.

That isn't the Hulk I like to see. Agree to differ.

EVerybody has their own interpretation they dig. So goes it.

I think some feel he would just come off like Hellboy if he is pretty intelligent and kind of snarky.

I'm not sure exactly what Hulk I want but I don't think they should strive too far away from the "rage monster" since that's basically taking Hulk away from his origin.

He doesn't have to sound intelligent when delivering the lines. You could feed 2 different actors the same lines and tell one to deliver them into different fashions and they would sound completely different.

It all comes down to the writing and how the actor delivers the lines.

Just look at EMH Hulk. That's how he should be.
