You could see the fear in her eyes during their first meeting two, when Banner yelled at her.

I loved how she was traumatized after almost gettin the pimp hand from hulk lol.

I love how Thor came to the rescue, you have to be strong to tackle the freakin' Hulk through a wall.

I think the fact that the camera eventually panned upside down behind the staff, was metaphoric, these characters being turned on their heads and manipulated. thats what I got from it right away. The bickering goes on and gets worse and they are panned upside down.

I have never laughed more at my Fiancé, she admittedly hated the last 2 Hulk films and now she can't get over how he "violated" Loki :funny:

I didn't get that when I was in the theater, but you pointing that out sort of makes it pretty apparent. You could see the group get progressively angrier and angrier, which made Loki smirk and his staff glow more. It was kind of a neat trick to distract the team while also letting Hawkeye and the mind-controlled agents/soldiers board the Helicarrier.

Missed the Hulks line for the second time. The crowd reacts so much right before that its impossible to hear haha. Bout time to see audience reacting so well to him. Every scene got a huge reaction from the audience. Definitely enjoyed Banner and the HUlk more in this then the previous versions.

Two things that I LOVED about this interpretation was:

1. I loved on how involved Banner was with the group conversations and how he wasn't treated entirely like a outsider/social outcast from the group, at least not to the point where they feel like they can't speak freely around him, along with how they took his opinions on the matters regarding Loki seriously.

2. I also loved on how coordinated Hulk's actions were, from diverting the dragon from hitting the building filled with people, to saving Iron man while not hurting those around him.

Hulk running [BLACKOUT]through that office building was ****ing epic, then pulling the leviathan away from that building was the cherry on top.[/BLACKOUT]

Indeed;

Also, I liked the combo that
Thor and Hulk used towards taking down one of the dragons, with Hulk drilling a shard of metal onto the creature's body, and Thor hammering it down with his weapon, fully charged with lightning, for the killing stroke.

Yes it was, it was also cool seeing Thor charge Mjolnir with lightning without raising it to the sky.

When they first see each other, Banner does rub his eyes.

So does Stark at some point in the argument, also shaking his head the same way Banner did before; to me, both gestures read clearly as "Woah, what's this in my head...?"

That was a clear sign, to me, that they were being influenced by Loki, also the camera angle on Thor's "You people are you pety...and tiny!", is was a like "dazed and confused" effect, thus making it clear that non of'em were witha clear head at the moment.

It's interesting that Hulk actually let the pilot of that jet go, considering that he was going to pimp slap Black Widow for far less, eh I guess he just wanted to keep his *****es in line :o

He didn't let him go. He threw him. I guess Hulk hasn't had many experiences with the ejection seat of a Jet.

My dad, being the huge fan of Hulk he is, was totally blown away by Ruffalo and The Hulk. Had my dad in total awe.

I would have liked it even better if the Hulk had more lines. Although [BLACKOUT]"Puny God!"[/BLACKOUT] did make me laugh out loud in the cinema.

When watching, I realized that they actually had Hulk looking like Ruffalo which I thought was a nice touch as I dont remember that being the case with previous actors in the role

Really? Didn't they make the first Hulk look like Bana?

oh you are right. Its been so long since Ive seen that but checked pics and it is the case. Ruffalo's Hulk instantly stuck out to me. From the face down to the hair, it looks alot like him

What RDJ plays Stark perfectly is the intelligence/look/charm/heroism aspects and humor!(I'm not talking about most of his dialogue But his charisma&playful ways)

In the films Stark is more of a *****e But it fits and Stark in the comics is a *****e to an extend anyway,Stark in Avengers becomes more heroic and what he did on the Helicarrier with Cap to save it and with the missile in the end of the film is pure Iron Man from the comics!!

Funny thing, a friend and I were talking about it the other day and (I have to admit, I don't read that many comics) we both find RDJ's Stark to be a "charming ***hole", which makes him so likeable and awesome (c'mon, RDJ = charisma); yet, we both find comic book Stark to be just plain, boring and a straight up *****e; honestly, I always found him to be completely unlikeable and a stuck up...maybe I haven't read enough, but that's the vibe I got from the little I've read.

I was also satisfied with the Hulk vs Thor fight, I don't see what people were saying with the whole "Hulk had the upperhand" thing.

Yeah he slammed Thor and threw him a few feet before the jet interrupted them, but did that really hurt a guy who survived a 5 mile drop? Nahhhh

I know i'm more of a Hulk fan than a Thor one, but speaking completely objectively I do think Hulk had the better of the fight, you say Thor wasnt hurt, but his nose started bleading in the fight, this is the first time we have seen the character bleed. Also, when the jet turned up, Thor was just getting pummeled and Hulk was getting more pissed off, so I think if it had gone on longer Hulk would have gotten more of an upper hand. As it was, I would give the edge slightly to Hulk. Thor had lost Mjolnir by the end of the fight also didnt look to be getting up any time soon from Hulk's last blow. He seemed perfectly happy to let the Hulk concentrate on the jet.

Dont get me wrong though Thor had some great moments in the fight also, the Mjolnir uppercut was amazing, along with Hulk not being able to pick the hammer up. And it wasnt as if he lost heavily, I would just say Hulk had the slight edge during.

Nah, everyone knows something as small as a nose bleed is not a good indicator of who's winning the fight. Especially when you were actively trying to defuse the situation when you were struck with the blow the caused the nose bleed.

Also, all Hulk did was throw Thor into a wall before the jet came and after being punched through several was I'm pretty sure he didn't have much effect on him. For Thor to even be able to keep up with Hulk WHILE trying to calm him down should be enough to make the fight come off as evenly matched.

Hulk was clearly the one who was more into the fight while Thor was fighting to protect rather than outright battle Hulk.

Personally, I think Thor stopped trying to protect him once he got Mjolnir, he didnt hold anything back once he did that uppercut, he was trying to put Hulk down and couldnt. At first he was trying to protect but I personally dont think he was after that point.

And after the fight Thor looked more roughed up than Hulk did. Plus if one guy has a nose bleed but the other doesnt, surely that indicates some level of getting the better of the fight.

I think it's worth noting that one punch from Hulk made Thor bleed yet a full blown whack from Mjolnir only dazed the Hulk momentarily. Also this whole Thor was trying the calm Hulk down, he wasn't into the fight thing is just baloney, yes he did at first but after that punch from Hulk Thor was fully into the fight.
