^Yeah, i had that on a T-Shirt as a kid too back in the 70's.
I was actually looking for the below EW Magazine cover , when i ran across the two above pics in my photobucket album. Compare the pic of Hulk here, to the one on the cover of POST, and you have to think to yourself, 'What the hell were they thinking when they decided that pic of Hulk was a agreat cover pic to promote the movie..?" :rolleyes

I can confidently say that the EW magazine cover, along with the superbowl trailer killed this franchise. The bad WOM was just the nail in the coffin. TIH has suffered misrerably for it ever since....![]()
That's so not true. Ang's Hulk failed because it was a terrible movie and got bad word of mouth. It had good opening weekend number. It's just that when people saw it they started telling other not to go see it. I personally didn't even go to see the Hulk in theaters on that Saturday. My friend saw it on Friday and told me not to go see it because its was boring. I didn't see Hulk until it was on HBO/Showtime. (Did the same thing with Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance)
Not true. The negative impression for this movie started back in Jan/Feb of 2003 with the superbowl trailer. It made 60 someting million it's first weekend which is very meh, compared to what Spider-Man made just a year earlier. Let's not forget that Hulk is Marvels second biggest character after Spider-Man. The prediction for Hulks opening weekend was sopposed to be around 80 million.
You actaully just helped my point by stating that bad WOM killed it, so the b.o was NOT good.
It was NOT a bad movie, it was just a bad Hulk movie and deceived the general public with it's advertising.
I don't know if the Hulk is still Marvel's second biggest character. It's probably Iron Man or Wolverine now. However, the recent Hulk in the Avengers has helped him climb back up the status ladder.
It's funny that Mark (to my knowledge) was never in any of the NY set pics.
At least he doesn't look like he's made of rubber or some synthetic flesh/ paste material like Ang Lee's Hulk.
Or like a plastic action figure ala TIH.

I still don't get these reactions. I thought Hulk looked great in both movies. There was still room for improvement, but I watch those on a yearly basis.
Ruffalulk has definitely become my favorite now.
Indeed; plus, while he may not have had as many words as his predecessors, it was just his mannerisms and the way he carried himself that made him more lively than his two past counterparts on the big screen.
I still thirst to see Hulk in all his glory....
