That's what Ang Lee wanted as well. Good thing he kept his pants even at 15 ft.
LMAO!!! That was a day maker!!!

I think the CGI for Ang's Hulk is vastly superior. It's ILM after all. I can understand people not liking the design, but the CGI was amazing. The skin texture and animation for the muscles was brilliant.
The CGI in TIH was horrendous at parts. For a 150 million dollar movie made in 2008 it's kinda unacceptable. And i hated the design. It looked like he was constantly flexing and straining. Too much sinew and his skin looked like it was paper thin. He was like a Rob Liefeld drawing with all this unnecessary lines.
Yeah this is pretty much my opinion on the matter as well, though I did prefer the design of the TIH Hulk, the effects of the 2003 Hulk was better in every way.
Yea that was a true "holy ****!" moment. Then when he jumps away roaring into the distance the whole cinema burst into laughter all 3 times i saw it.
I thought he got blown away by the explosion?
I thought he jumped off the wreckage before it exploded? Either way, it was hilarious.
yes he was knocked away and roared during the explosion
It was a deleted scene in TIH. Here it is here:

'This is the scene where you can see Captain America buried in the ice on the left at the very end when the ice comes flying towards the viewer
Nope. He looked like he had the skin of a salamander. Not even the cave scene with Betty?
True that the SB ad started a bad impression, but over 60 mil opening in 2003 was not "meh". That was among the best OW ever at that time. It still ranks #6 all time in June openers. (Xmen FC didn't even beat it last year) People were very interested in seeing it. The movie plummeted after that though and only finished 14th for the year. It had toxic WOM.Not true. The negative impression for this movie started back in Jan/Feb of 2003 with the superbowl trailer. It made 60 someting million it's first weekend which is very meh, compared to what Spider-Man made just a year earlier. Let's not forget that Hulk is Marvels second biggest character after Spider-Man. The prediction for Hulks opening weekend was sopposed to be around 80 million.
You actaully just helped my point by stating that bad WOM killed it, so the b.o was NOT good.
It was NOT a bad movie, it was just a bad Hulk movie and deceived the general public with it's advertising.
I have to disagree. 60 mil is a 'meh' opening
Wikipedia said:Hulk was released on June 20, 2003, earning $62.1 million in its opening weekend, which made it the 16th highest ever opener at the time.
I have to disagree. 60 mil is a 'meh' opening especially when you consider it was predicted to make around 80 opening weekend, and it was riding on the back of Spider-Man's record breaking opener the year before. Expectations were high. MIB:III only made around 55 mil in three days, and that's an established franchise and just a few mil short of Hulk.
When he was once again asked whether we should expect to see Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner turn up in Iron Man 3, he said no, but promised the following. "We will see the Ruffalo Hulk in future. I don't know when or how, exactly, but he's an interesting character, and so many new avenues have opened up. But now in the movies, who's gonna pop up where? You're never quite sure."
