That is interesting not sure what to make of that.

Yeah Harry was all like "Dad, these are public school kids. I'm not going to show up for a field trip in the Rolls". Norman very rightly said "Don't ever be ashamed of who you are".

I think that was a great line.

That entire exchange was just great.

I think it's a nice bit of symbolism too. Now that Harry's father is dead, he accepts who he is and takes up his father's legacy... and later on does the same thing with the Green Goblin. :oldrazz:

Woah...

The hair looks like solid gold. XD

I see what you mean and I love his jokes, espicially in SSM and the USM comic, but I just love the struggling, human side of him more. What makes me love Spider-Man the most is not that he makes light of things or that he stays positive in the midst of struggle, but that he holds steady, and gives up the things he wants the most to do what he believes in. And this SUCKS, but he never gives up. That's why I love Spider-man 2 so much. He DOES give up, but he learns that he will always be Spider-man and that with great power, there must also come great responsibility!

I love that aspect of spiderman and Peter Parker as well and I really hope we see him struggle with his life and care for people around him in the next film in a very well written way

Eventually, but let's focus on the Raimi films. But anyways I'm glad you feel the same way. Responsibility vs Desire is a great theme.

I just finished watching SM2; started it the other night.

It's weird but it felt like I was watching it the first time and I enjoyed it a lot

Crazy how time flies!

I have watched the movie like 40 times and the movie never gets old but I wish I could go back and see it for the first time.

I know what you mean. Seeing it certainly takes you back, kind of like listening to a very old song after a long time.

I've seen it quite a few times myself, but I think it was sometime last year when I previously watched it.

The dark knight trligy and all the spider man movies I have watched like to many times to count but sm 2 never gets old and hear 10 years later sm 2 still has the best fight in a sm movie with the train fight are we ever going to get a better fight in a sm movie.

I was just going to add to that and mention the train sequence.

I don't know what it is, man. If we can come up with so many good ideas, CBM directors should be able to as well. If I was in charge of a Spider-Man film right now, that fight sequence would be my model that I would try to outdo. I try not to go into comparison but that's the best fight I've seen on screen.

I know there's Batman vs. Bane from TDKR, but I'll give Spider-Man the edge since I'm not as big of a Batman fan.

I'm a huge Batman fan, and I think no action scene in any Batman movie matches the epic train fight of Spider-Man 2.

The action in Raimi's trilogy is still unmatched, it was so diverse and visually creative that you just watch in awe everything that is happening on screen. My favorite action scenes are the train fight and Harry's first fight with Peter. I also like how simple yet effective was their second fight, the way they kept teasing eachother "I protected you in HS and now Im gonna kick your little ass" "Ohh" lol it truly felt like 2 old friends fighting.

The only SH movies that come close in terms of action are The Avengers and The Winter Soldier, maybe Iron Man 3 to certain extent.

Yeah, Raimi's action scenes were and are the bomb.com

I love Nolan's TDK movies, but the action isn't anywhere near as good as SM1/SM2/SM3. But I'm not hating on the action scenes, Nolan did well, and Bane vs. Batman I & II were astounding, and the others were noteworthy.

Yeah the spider man movies have had great action better action then the noaln movies but that is not a bad thing has the batman movies have had some really good action to like both bane fights and the action when batman is driving the batmobliy trying to save ratcherl or even the end of dark knight rises when he is flying trying get to bomb back all great action to.

I think what makes the train fight so good is that even after 10 years the CGI still looks really good if not great and it is just a very creative fight. I love the part when they are on the train and spider man ducks when doc ock trys to hit him and then a second later the both have to duck. I mean the part around 1:38 hear is just so so awesome.

I think all the spider man movies have had a lot of great action but sm2 really has the best pluse the best story to. I also love the bank fight when spider man pulls the talbe towds ock when he is trying to smash his head.

Reflecting on SM2 some more, I think the scene where Peter reveals the details of Uncle Ben's death to Aunt May hit home. For some reason I had forgotten about that scene, but it had an emotional impact on me when I saw it the other night.

There are a lot of great scene in the movie and that is another one and tobey did a really good job in that scene.

Agreed.

Even soon after, when Aunt May follows up with Peter and he's helping her with packing, was a scene that's always stuck with me.

I like how significant Aunt May was in Peter's decision to return as Spider-Man.

Yeah they really hinted that she new he was spider man. I thought we where going to see her finding out that peter is spider man in sm3 or something.
