The fight scenes in the Raimi films were just fantastic. How the hell do they even choreograph these things? There 50% cgi and just amazing.
Actually I'd day that's only true for the final fight in SM-3 mainly what with giant Sandman and all. But the other fights, if you watch behind the scenes Raimi uses real actors and stunt people when ever he can. Even Doc Ock's tentacles were real controlled by puppeteers, and were only CGI when absolutely necessary.

, I think that Movie Bob's analysis of Spider-Man 3 sums it up well: Peter acting that way is cringe-inducing and embarrassing ... But it's supposed to be that way, because Peter (Black Suit or not) doesn't know what "cool" is. So, instead of seeing the charming dork/underdog we're used to seeing, we see an arrogant dork with no self-awareness. It's pretty clear to me that Raimi didn't want the audience to cheer for Black Suit Spidey, and so one can argue that he did too good of a job at making the audience hate him, if that makes sense.
