This is off topic, but what does part 1 of 99 luft balloons mean? Or is it not supposed to mean anything?

What type of bands do you listen to, lol? My faovrites are Metallica, Godsmack, Black Label Society, Black Sabbath/DIO (RIP), ACDC, etc.

I was with you until those two.

Kind of funny that Venom and Sandman are absent from the Spider-Man 3 portion of it though lol.

I noticed that too, haha. Guess they only wanted to show the more important characters/moments of the trilogy.

I LOVE THIS.

Great...a two minute tribute...that's awesome...

*sees an 'Inception tribute' on the corner*

Oooo, Inception!

*clicks on it*

I made these wallpapers for my phone (Droid). Unfortunately, I could not fit Sandman and New Goblin in. Ah well.

Then I made it black and white, which I am currently using.

Not sure, lol.

Hey I am wondering, too. It's not reffering to that 80ties song? I mean, I don't see how it would make any sense..

Wow, you did this? Looks really great, both version, though I prefer the one in color.:yay:

Thanks! It took over an hour. I think the black and white version looks better on my phone so I'm using it for now.

Did you adjust the lighting?

On the color one? Yeah. Quite a bit actually. Green Goblin is most notably different, especially if you look at the original poster. I used color balance along with hue/saturation and brightness/contrast, then recreated his eyes.

I did the same thing to the rest of them. I also fixed Spider-Man's ripped suit and got rid of Ock in his lenses.

On the black and white one, I desaturated it then messed with the contrast. No big deal there.

I've never been able to get into those two bands...and I wish Scorpion King used a better song than Godsmack as well.

But, from my tastes in music, it's either classic rock, metal(more progressive and mathcore) and underground hip-hop mixed with late 80s early 90s rap.

Yes, I know...it's a very complex and complicated taste, hahaha.

To be honest, New Goblin and Sandman doesn't even belong in the trilogy, imo. Harry is find as a semi-villain in the second film and then having his two battles during the third installment, but he was always just in the middle between hero and villain as he wasn't quite "in the know" and then he helped out Spidey. The entire third film could've worked out just as fine without Sandman as well, and it could still have been Spidey and Harry vs Venom in the end.

So  on the wallpaper. The three greatest Spidey villains right there.

Thanks! Could have been without Sandman, but I liked him anyway. I thought they could have done something else in the final battle other than him turning giant. I like his form in the comics where the bottom half of his body and his arms are sand, and the rest is just normal. They could have had him and Venom tag team more, then they take care of Venom for a bit, and Sandy and Pete have their talk, then Venom gets greedy and bites Sandman and kills him.

That would've been fine as well, but I think just as a whole, Spider-Man 3 could've worked just as fine without Sandman and just tidy everything up, from the symbiote's effects on Peter, to cleaning up messes like Harry making MJ break up with Peter and what have you. Without Sandman, we wouldn't have that retcon and the movie itself could be the same length and just add in more time with Venom having to learn his new abilities much like in Spider-Man: The Black or whatever that comic was called. And besides, between Harry, Eddie and Flint, Flint was the one that did seem underdeveloped between the three in the film anyways, and I think you could still have the symbiote put emphasis on revenge and what not with Peter towards Harry even after their first battle and then forgiveness can be towards Peter and Harry and vice versa, then Peter and MJ and vice versa. Heck, with it being a trilogy and concluding arcs, the forgiveness theme could be towards Harry and MJ and vice versa as well, from them forgiving eachother for what happened between them in the first film then how what transpired in the third film.

I guarantee that Sandman could've been left out and the film would still make sense, lol.

I ahte hip-hop, but to each his own. Tbh, I like classic rock as well. Well, if you consider Blue Oyster Cult classic rock.

Why wouldn't it?

And nothing wrong with the kind of hip-hop I am referring to. What is heard on the radio puts a bad rep on what that type of genre is really about.

Well, isn't classic rock late 60's? Oh well, I love it, lol.

Late 60s through early/middle 80s. The popularity of that genre is roughly the mid 70s though, which was the time of Blue Oyster Cult.

Some bands from that era still perform and make new music, but they'd still be categorized as "classic rock" though, like AC/DC.

Agreed.
