^^ Agreed. I would have loved to have seen where Raimi would have taken Peter in his life journey next.

Just finished watching Spider-Man 3. Don't think I'll ever get tired of watching these movies. Wonder what would've happened if there was a Spider-Man 4 or 5 and 6 like they planned. The world may never know. Sigh. :csad:

Me too.

As would I.

I wanted to know too, for other reasons as well

Wasn't there such a rumor of Adrian Toomes buying the Daily Bugle? Not exactly something regarding Peter, but that's the only slight of news I remember besides Vulture and Vulturess being the villains (:o).

And I would assume there would be some more awful angst between Peter and MJ from the events of Spider-Man 3.

So...my own journey tonight involved visiting Target and only finding Spider-Man 2.1. I did buy it, but I hate the extended cut as the added effects look plain awful. I watched it, but I will be selling that at Zia once I get my S-M 2 DVD from Amazon.

Still a great movie, and such a tragic what the series became in the last installment. But, even with its flaws, I think Spider-Man 3 was better in using Venom and Sandman than just Sandman and Vulture...mind Sam Raimi's original vision, Sandman and Vulture doesn't speak in volumes as dangerous as Green Goblin or Doc Ock. I wish the movie stood up to its hype though, but...oh well :csad:

There was actually a deleted scene from S-M2 that was only shown in the FX tv version of S-M 2.1 back in 2007.

It showed peter arriving at his apararmtent after leaving Aunt May's house and chaining his scooter to a post or something.

If there was one villain you'd like to have seen do an encore performance who would it be?

Mine would have to be Alfred Molina. I'm an Octopus junkie. I'd love to have seen him don the tentacles one more time.

I loved them all, but if I had to absoloutely choose one, it'd be Molina as Ock. Well, either him or Dafoe as the Green Goblin.

For so long I was hoping to see a Hobgoblin in these movies, but never will it happen =/

Trilogy already heavy on Goblins, wanted other villains, like Kraven & Chameleon (one movie), or Hammerhead & Silvermane

I was REALLY excited to see the Vulture in S-M4. It's too bad that didn't happen. I also wanted to see Kraven and the Lizard.

Kraven and Chameleon would have been so awesome to see in a movie. Unfortunately I feel like no studio would ever allow more "minor" villains to be the headliners. Which is a shame, as they would have worked spectacularly in Rammi's universe.

Agreed. The studio felt VUtlrue wouldn't have worked, which is just EXTREMELY stupid, if you ask me. The Vulture is a very dangerous foe and I think he would have worked greatly in S-M4.

Part of what has always made Vulture so great is that you don't expect him to be dangerous. I would have loved to see the classic scene of Vulture sneaking up on Spidey and throwing him in the water tower on the big screen.

I would have to say Venom, mostly because I wanted to see more of him...much, much more. Venom can be a very evil and twisted villain if used correctly. And if Ock didn't all of a sudden turn "good" at the end of Spider-Man 2, I would want him to return. I wouldn't vote for the Sinister Six, but maybe like a Master Planner-ish storyline. Third, it would just be Sandman since we have no idea if he'll stay on a straight path. Both Goblins, they had their run and I wouldn't want to see them at all, only someone taking their mantle.

Which makes you wonder why didn't they even ask Raimi to use another villain besides of bringing in Vulturess...how would a new character under the Vulture mantle make the original Vulture any more dangerous? Lol.

And we both disagree on that, but STILL, you're not understanding my point....if Sony thought Vulture was an underperformed villain, then why was Vulturess even brought up? How would another Vulture character make the original, to Sony's eyes, "better"?

And if Raimi brought up Vulturess, then he probably made a reason of how another Vulture would make the original "better"...I just don't understand both reasons of logic tbh.

Sony would have thought it would be better because it's two foes instead of one and to them, and they'd probably think two Vultures would be dangerous. It smells of Sony, if you ask me.

From what I heard, Raimi wanted to use black Cat, which is a far better option.

Felicia Hardy would be used, yes, but I haven't seen anything to speculate BLACK CAT would be used since Felicia would be Vulturess.

I can't say it smells like Sony, because either Sony thought of Vulturess as having "two Vultures" would be better than one, or Raimi thought of Vulturess because he wanted to keep Vulture. Either way, Vulturess was a bad idea, and even moreso, Felicia as Vulturess was even worse. But Felicia being BC is something I have never seen proof of, or even speculation.

Well, there were 2 articles that popped up affter S-M4 was cancelled that mentioned it.
