Kraven and Chameleon would have been so awesome to see in a movie. Unfortunately I feel like no studio would ever allow more "minor" villains to be the headliners. Which is a shame, as they would have worked spectacularly in Rammi's universe.
Agreed. The studio felt VUtlrue wouldn't have worked, which is just EXTREMELY stupid, if you ask me. The Vulture is a very dangerous foe and I think he would have worked greatly in S-M4.
Someone remember this one? "Spider-Man 3 How It Should Have Ended" [YT]HoNgMVFQNBI[/YT]
I just watched it again after many years and though I do like S-M3 I think it's very funny.
That is hilarious!
t: It's so mean how they caricature Aunt May "Oh that reminds me of a long boring story about your uncle that will only make you feel guilty and make the wrong decisions in life" or weeping Pete...I always die of laugh.

t:I felt the Goblin story was told perfectly by #3. I mean, I think Hobogoblin would have pushed the Goblin story a bit too far. I wonder what type of tone Vulture would have given S-M4? Makes me even more sad that it didn't happen.Vulture never excited me, personally. I would much rather see Hobgoblin than Vulture.
It's been 2 years. Do you think I remember the websites, lol?Links?

Or the sandman scencet: or etc. etc.
It just shows you how awful Spider-Man 3 is...How It Should Have Ended's videos are 1-3 minute shorts, but they had to make a 6+ minute short to showcase ALL, or mostly all, of the film's awful, awful mistakes. I always wondered, even with the brilliant scene of the birth of Sandman(one of only two worthwhile scenes in the whole damn movie), did Raimi even realize how ridiculous the creation of Sandman even was? The whole "must be a bird" line was just horrendous and stupid.
That song was pretty catchy thought:

Apparently she is the daughter of the new editor of The Daily Bugle, a man who is also referred to as a viper' (more on this in a second). She falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker (presumably as The Black Cat).
If negotiations proceed according to plan, Malkovich will be playing Spider-Mans nemesis the Vulture, who packs a punch despite his advanced age. The Vulture is able to fly through the air and brandish his sharp wings to attack Spider-Man.
As for Hathaway, thats where things get tricky.
The 27-year-old actress is currently the top choice for Felicia Hardy, whod been long-rumored as one of the new characters in this installment. (Other names bandied about for the role included Julia Stiles, Rachel McAdams, and Romola Garai.) However, unlike in the comic books, this Felicia Hardy doesnt transform into the Black Cat. Instead, Raimis Felicia will become a brand-new superpowered figure called the Vulturess.
I agree except I don't think that Spider-Man 3 was as bad you do. I'd say that the brilliant scene of the birth of Sandman was one of only two worthwhile Sandman scenes in the whole damn movie.
Otherwise, I completely agree with you.
Honestly, besides the birth of Sandman and the birth of Venom, I can't stand the rest of the film. There are a lot of CBMs that I watch and it makes me want to punch out the director, the writer and the studio that was involved, and Spider-Man 3 is one of those films. It's just a sloppy movie to display two of Spidey's greatest villains.

That is where my opinions are hated in threads such as this because I hate Spider-Man 3 and that grows down the road as much as a fan's appreciation of S-M 3 grows down the road.
It was a pure disappointment, imo, and it wasn't all because of Sony and Avi Arad. Sam Raimi has much of the blame on his shoulders as well and not enough fans can understand that and defend it, lol.
Which is very ironic. Fanboys praise Raimi for the accolades of Spider-Man 1 and 2, but defend every time when someone says it's Raimi's fault Spider-Man 3 was awful. Besides the pull Sony and Arad had, Raimi had more to do with the third installment than the previous films because he was a factor in writing the third film, something he didn't do with the first two films.
Sam Raimi and his brother played a major role with the script, and Sargent had something to with it as well, but I'm not quite sure if he wrote the final draft.
