To me, the comic book costume will always remain the best because it's what has lasted so many years and it's classic, however, it would not look good on film. That's one of the reasons I really liked the movie design they whent with. It fit what they were going for. SPecifically, the armored aspect.

To me, the classic costume never looked very good, even in comics. I always thought that Hobgoblin looked a lot better, as well as the more recent Green Goblin redesign. I agree with you otherwise. The glider was definitely great, and I was sad to see Harry not use it in Spider-Man 3.

Neither have I. That opening narration is out of character for this incarnation of Doc Ock. He doesn't want to destroy New York City in the movie, at any point.

Yes, but that was not his goal. He did not have such contempt for the people of New York City. After all, as he saw it, a perfected fusion machine would have improved the well-being of humanity enough to justify any sacrifice. That was his whole point.
