But you never asked me to divulge onto a topic, which I did not avoid.

SO uh, what's going on? Are defending/complaining about SM3 Venom or something? :p

Same old, same old.

Sure we can all agree that Ben Kingsley as Vulture would have been preferable to Topher Grace as Venom.

He was also diagnosed with Cancer and his wife had left him...

He was diagnosed with cancer in the 2000's, and they did nothing interesting with that.

His wife left him before he even became Venom.

If people want to see the best version of Venom watch the 90's animated series. He was a great villain in that.

Everyone needs to quit the bickering and discuss this without resorting to name-calling.

I agree the 90's animated series and the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series had the best Eddie Brock/Venom in media.

The kiss scene is my favorite moment in the trilogy.

Was it true Raimi borrowed it from James Cameron's script?

That second gif of Ben especially makes me smile.

That scene always makes me wonder why they didn't use Mechanical Webshooters.

So much better that way.

I know they originally were, but I forget why they didn't. There's even footage of it being used.

I swear, back in 2002 the whole theater could hear the noise of my eyes rolling several times during this movie.

Wish my hearing was anywhere near that good to hear anyone's eyes rolling in silence, much less a theater.

Because it's ridiculous that a lower class high schooler would have the education and resources to build a highly complex gadget like that, which wouldn't be able to exist in real life unless it's as thick as a soda can.

Tobey's argument was that if a kid could build webshooters he could have used the design to become rich/wealthy. And he wanted Peter to continue with his money issues. I remember Tobey saying this during a couple of interviews years ago. Sam Raimi was against the idea of a kid Peter's age coming up with such a complex device. Never understood that one.

That's a problem I have with one, it was kinda inconsistent,

If Peter making webshooters isn't grounded but making a very professional costume is and having a Spider-Man that can swing without physics is?

Stranger things in life have happened. I've seen teenagers making very a+ costumes.

lol while I love the webshooters, I prefer organics. :o

Also, I had no clue that was the official reason, thanks.
