But you never asked me to divulge onto a topic, which I did not avoid.

He was also diagnosed with Cancer and his wife had left him...
If people want to see the best version of Venom watch the 90's animated series. He was a great villain in that.

That scene always makes me wonder why they didn't use Mechanical Webshooters.
So much better that way.
I swear, back in 2002 the whole theater could hear the noise of my eyes rolling several times during this movie.
I know they originally were, but I forget why they didn't. There's even footage of it being used.

Because it's ridiculous that a lower class high schooler would have the education and resources to build a highly complex gadget like that, which wouldn't be able to exist in real life unless it's as thick as a soda can.
That's a problem I have with one, it was kinda inconsistent,
If Peter making webshooters isn't grounded but making a very professional costume is and having a Spider-Man that can swing without physics is?
Tobey's argument was that if a kid could build webshooters he could have used the design to become rich/wealthy. And he wanted Peter to continue with his money issues. I remember Tobey saying this during a couple of interviews years ago. Sam Raimi was against the idea of a kid Peter's age coming up with such a complex device. Never understood that one.
