I know he's pushing it a bit, but I think Christoph Waltz would do a good job in the role.

Daniel Craig - very good actor who has a rough look to go with his charismatic persona it owudl be a change of pace for him too since he has'nt played a villain to my recollection but could do it with ease imo

He was great as the villain in Tintin. I didn't even realized it was him until the credits.

here is a different Suggestion what about Matthew McConaughey it seems like his career is back on track with more serious roles like Lincoln Lawyer,Killer Joe, Jeff Nichols(Take Shelter) Next Film Mud.

Will Luthor be required to take his shirt off at a minimum of at least 4 times throughout the film?

I brought him up a while ago, but people seemed to be meh bout it so I left it alone, I understand why though....but now I can't see him as lex anymore....maybe cause of the romantic comedies he's been doing lol I don't know

Not liking McConaughey, even bald, while he looks badass, I'm not getting the villain vibe.

Yeah, Cumberbatch looks far too alien to be just Lex.

more i think about it i want jason isaacs i dont care if it is lazy casting lol

so are we just picking bald actors now lol? van damme is a horrid choice imo.

People have been picked bald actors since the first thread... it's nothing new :p

To a degree, I do get why. You randomly come across a pic of an actor in a role where he was bald, and it makes you think 'hey, he looks like he'd make a good Lex there'.

I actually would want to see a more muscled or bigger Luthor this time around for some reason. Just because it's cliche to see a somewhat scrawnier Lex taking on Superman in a battle of wills. Seeing two guys who look to be pretty in shape just having a pissing match, while one is pretty much a god and the other is a god unto himself.

Van Damme.. haha. And Family Guy was right, McConaughey is awful.

Hopefully Nolan stays on as producer for the sequels, if they happen, and we get some quality casting again.

thats the challenge and what is so interesting ledger had never been a menacing psycho before either

Difference is Cooper is a comedy actor, that's his range, repeated over and over.

If TPTB want audiences to take Luthor more seriously this time around as a less goofy character, casting Bradley Cooper doesn't do them any favors.

He is horrible, but at least he's nice to look at.

Wooderson for Lex? I could see that, because after all he sure does like those redheads! :cwink: :oldrazz:
