Interesting choice....I am not familiar with him. Sucker Punch is another movie I never made it through.
I don't blame you, that movie was a mess, lol. But like I said, I still think Isaacs was good in it.

I've already thrown him out there for Batman, but I think he might be better suited for Luthor: Nikolaj Coster Waldau
I'd like him for either, but I slightly prefer him for Batman.

Oh let's just get Gary Oldman and be done with it. :o

I love Josh Brolin, but I just don't see him as Lex.

Here's an American for ya.

Corey Feldman would be a good choice. :o

:oldrazz:

I swear for like two minutes I was like WTF....lol

The FROG might be able to bring it...I never count a Corey out. Well...I do now, but one is still kickin'

Considering Fassbender and Daniel Day-Lewis are probably not options, probably Strong.

Luthor being bald is not a big thing for me. Also, definitely mad scientist.

Im hoping for a combo mad scientist and business mogul. A power-hungry super genius.

He would indeed make a great Lex or Batman. But I can't help it... maybe I'm just casting on looks alone, but he screams Aquaman to me. I know there's pretty much a snowball's chance in hell of Aquaman ever appearing in a movie, but if he does, Nikolaj would be epic.

Although it would be interesting to see what they would do if restricted to making him simply a scientist. People say that the scientist Lex by itself is outdated but I'm not so sure. Does he have to be a businessman to be complex? I'd like to know what the motivation would be for a scientist to oppose Superman.

He can just be a scientist and still be complex. But he needs lots and lots of the green stuff to have true power in this semi-realistic version of the story. I'm okay with him being a scientist first and foremost, whose discoveries/breakthroughs/patents etc. have made him very very rich and powerful.

I would like him to be a like an evil Nathan Stark from Eureka. He's super smart, rich and handsome. Lex should hate Superman because he was truly the top dog in Metropolis before Supes shows up. Lex doesn't trust Superman because he stole his spot in Metropolis and he can't stand the fact everyone loves an alien. I think jealousy and envy are good motivations as any for Lex.

As for "powering" Lex....team him with a scientist like Hamilton.

too old looking for many tastes if we get an older guy i would prefer someone who looks like mark strong or jason isaacs

:hmm

So how would one introduce Lex? After TASM I'm not so thrilled with the villain in the shadows like appearance.
