But I'm quoting you now so hopefully folks would talk about it.

He'll be a pretty epic Lex Luthor, aint he?

Jason Clarke was great in Zero Dark Thirty and Lawless, he has presence, charm and a kind of a bad guy look.

He's gonna star in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, so he's career is just rising. He deserves, he's a very talented actor.

Then Jason Clarke would be perfect too.

I imagine him portraying Lex with a soft voice and manners, and then looks evil in the right moment!

Have anybody seen him? His character in Zero Dark Thirty does horrible things, and we still care about him, kinda like him. This, is perfect acting.

Not sure if he's been mentioned before. But I was looking through some old superman comics and I remembered that Lex used to have hair . And the red hair immediately reminded me of Michael Fassbender, he'd be soooo perfect!!

what the hell is everyone's obsession with Michael Fassbender?!?!? People begged for him to be Magneto, and want him to be James Bond, and Lex Luthor, and this guy and that guy...I don't see it. I am NOT a fan. No thanks...

I wasn't into Fassbender but after a few movies I couldn't help myself. He's just so good! And I think he'd make a fantastic Lex Luthor. He'd be different from past versions. As for the big thing... No comment...

I get he is mentioned a lot for roles but there isn't anything wrong with that. I only see people get mad when people mention him. He's a good actor and I wouldn't have a problem with him being Lex. I swear people get annoyed that he's brought up so much but It's equally annoying when someone brings him up and the entire post is discredited because people like him lol. I'd support him as Lex but he wouldn't be my first choice anymore. I'm not sure anymore who I'd want for Lex.

I always had two ppl whom I wanted as Lex, they were my ideal choices.

1. Guy Pearce
2. Tom Hardy

Both can still get the part, but it will probably be difficult cause the general audience would think "BANE" for Hardy, and "Aldrich Killian" for Pearce (hoping his character dies in Iron Man 3 freeing him up to do MOS2 lol).

Are there others who could pull off the character? Sure, but I really don't see Fassbender as one of those ppl, wasn't amazed with him as Magneto (certain moments where good, like the bar scene lol) and he put me to sleep in Prometheus (god I didnt like that movie lol), just to name a few, he was decent in 300, annoying in Jonah Hex, and I laughed my ass off at him in Haywire :P (HA, your really gonna try to kill Carano with your fits, use a gun next time.....whoops..too late).

What don't you get? He's a brilliant actor who also happens to be good-looking. Of course he's brought up for a lot of big roles. For the record, the only role I've really wanted to see him in is Batman. I wanted that before he was ever Magneto, and I still want it. But I find that any good Batman candidates also make for good Luthor candidates, so I'd support him as Luthor in a heartbeat. I don't care to see him as Bond, tbh, and Guy Pearce is still my top choice for Lex.
