I love the idea of Mads Mikkelsen as Lex. He was awesome as La Chiffre in Casino Royale(obviously my favorite Bond film) and he's great on Hannibal. Plus, it'd reunite him with Laurence Fishburne.

I was really unaware of the online fan culture until just a few years back. So for the more seasoned here, was the Ledger choice for TDK considered really surprising when it was announced? Was he a fan consensus before being announced or was it just a fan wish list free for all? I ask because I really think and hope that Snyder just makes us all smack our collective foreheads and go " (insert name here)? Of course! Who else but (insert name here)?"

Then the trailer was released and all of those people were like "Oh, sh**."

TONS. It was pretty crazy. I too wasn't the biggest fan of it, but I did like the guys acting so I waited until official promotional material came out.

Yeah, I was optimistic. I had some trouble picturing it but Ledger had already won me over with stronger performances in BM and Monster's Ball. I always figured he'd be good but I don't think anyone other than Chris Nolan expected him to be THAT good.
