Spidey just doesn't want to see a gap like we had with Spacey and Routh if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah,but you look at Bush and Gaddafi...you can see evil in their eyes...I think you missed the point. Some people don't want a guy that LOOKS like a villain in the face already. If they have a sinister look, you kind of automatically pre judge he is a bad guy. The interesting dynamic to have someone more suave is the manipulation is that much more hidden.

I would like to see an actor who's best known for heroic roles. Maybe Daniel Craig or something. I even like the Clooney suggestion.
I'd like it to be one of those "turning the public persona on its head" type performances.
