I hope you're right. I think mcadams is hotter than biel too.

The estate can't do much without the parts that WB own which happens to be the Symbol (and everything else besides a few names), which I would gather they make more money on merchandising that thing than they do on the comics that mention the elements in action comics #1. Its really a non-issue at this point, they're going to have to settle and if this movie does well, these court cases have a way of figuring themselves out in an undisclosed settlement.

You know to be honest I think Brandon Routh's wife Country Ford could actually work as a good Lois. She is really not that bad of an actress.

On a side note, I was seriously scratching my head thinking, "Her name is really COUNTRY Ford??" until a few posts later when someone said Courtney Ford. Anyways, you all were dying to know...

Oh that's old, but he should be posting a new huge scoop apparently, as soon as he gets the OK from his boss.

Diane Kruger personally stated that she's not up for any part in the movie. Which makes me think the others probably aren't either...

Dammit, I was hoping the Diane Kruger rumor was true. Having her and Olivia Wilde in the same movie would've been awesome.

I want some definitive news, dammit.

Is there a good chance Oliva Wilde will actually get this? I mean is she the front contender for the role?

If she is that would be really awesome. Out of all the contenders her and McAdams were the main contenders but I would really love if Wilde could take the part. She'd be really great as Lois.

There was an article somewhere I read yesterday that the main Lois contenders will be getting called in two weeks time to go in and read scenes with Cavill. I guess it'll come down to whoever has the best chemistry with him. Like you, I really hope it ends up being Olivia or Rachel McAdams.

I honestly rarely check the main page, I usually just come to the forums.

Though she was, yesterday, rumored to be in competition for a part in Zack Snyder's Superman, Diane Kruger now says there's no truth to the story.

"No," the actress said today, immediately following the press conference for her latest film, Unknown , "it's not true."

Aww boo, odds are that means that Eve and Pike aren't testing for a role either.:csad:

Same here, either of those two would be perfect

But its mostly gonna come down to the chemistry which can only help the film.

Please let Cavill and Wilde have a BUTTLOAD of chemistry, it's all going to come down to that. The girl is GORGEOUS.

And to be fair I can just see Henry having more chemistry with Olivia than with Rachel. But then, that's just me.

And I can I just quote something I read on wikipedia that sounds REALLY promising for Wilde's corner.

Her mother, Leslie Cockburn (née Redlich), is a 60 Minutes producer and journalist. Her father, Andrew Cockburn, who was born in London, England, and raised in Ireland, is a journalist, as are her uncles Alexander Cockburn and Patrick Cockburn (all of whom are contributors to the political website CounterPunch.org). Her sister, Chloe Cockburn, is a civil rights attorney in New York; her aunt was the late writer Sarah Caudwell, and her paternal grandfather was the novelist/journalist Claud Cockburn.
Wilde has said that as a result of her family background, she has a "strong journalistic streak", being "really critical and analytical".

I mean how awesome is that. 'Strong journalistic streak', you can't get better than that!!

I think Olivia Wilde is spot on for Lois
