I don't want her to be Lois, Spidey. I was talking about hotness only. You know how my mind works. :woot:

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it turned out to be Olivia Wilde.

Yes I really do know how your mind works.:oldrazz:

I do think that the Ma Kent casting is pointing to a hot 21 to 27 year old actress getting the role. I just hope the hottie can act.

I'm still praying it's not Wilde...

Shut up, I mean it. After the 450,000th post of "Olivia Wilde MUST be Lois Lane", it wears a little thin. I wasn't serious about Minka, but my God, there has to be someone out there better equipped to play Lois than her.

I'd rather Wilde play Lois than MEW, but that's not saying much.

On the whole McAdams has been mentioned for the role more than Wilde.

I wish they'd stop dragging this on and cast someone already

Probably. That probably just doesn't bother me as much because I think she'd be a better choice for the role than Wilde.

Are you guys serious? Are you guys serious?

"Oh man, the hotness bar has been raised." "Can't have Ma Kent being hotter than Lois." "Olivia Wilde is hotter than Diane Lane!" "No Minka's Kelly's hotter!"

Is "hotness" determining the quality of this movie now? Does it matter at all what's actually best for the story?

You all need to look yourselves in the mirror, slap yourselves in the face, and then think about who should play Lois with a little more carefulness because I have news for you: the "hotness" of Lois isn't going to make the story any better!

It's as if everyone on this board has never read a Superman comic or watched a Superman movie before. Do you even care what Lois's personality is supposed to be or what traits she's supposed to have?

I posted the main 2 here, but you all don't seem to care one bit about it. Sickening.

I just don't see them casting an actress five years older then the lead in this youth obsessed climent. It's dumb because McAdams is still young and looks younger than her age but I don't see it happening. And there is the fact that her star seems to be dimming a bit after that Morning Glory flop. I just see them getting a younger fresher it girl.

GA1U5, Hotness doesn't matter to me but I see it mattering to the filmmakers. I just want a solid spunky actress.

Yeah, I'd be down with Rachel McAdams getting the role too.

We HAVE to be just days away from Lois/Luthor/other villain casting announcements now.

The casting will go on for a couple more months or so. If Costner is in it, we'll get confirmation soon I think.

Yeah, with all the supporting characters, Jimmy, Perry White etc they could stretch it out for a while. I'm just hoping for Lois and Luthor soon.

I still want Edward James Olmos to be Perry White and I dont care what anyone says about it! :cmad:

I was kidding. You can like/dislike anyone you want. It doesn't bother me. :yay:

She can be Wonder Woman when Warner Bros. finally comes to their senses and makes a movie. :o

No, they will. Once the Wonder Woman TV series becomes the most popular show on television for 8 seasons straight and consecutively sweeps the Golden Globes and the Emmys, they'll make a movie trilogy that will gross more than Avatar.

Bizarro World is friggin' awesome.
