ITA... Gemma is a VERY competant actress. Anyone who disagrees NEEDS to watch Alice Creed.
As for her being stunning, OBVIOUSLY she is, but not in a threatening kinda way. She could easily be one of the girls in the office where I work. She's just so likeable. That's the problem with Olivia, her beauty is so... cold?
I think my main resistance to Olivia as LL is the fact that she is obviously Hollywood's latest "It girl"... she's suggested for EVERY female lead role (Catwoman, Talia, Lara Croft, Lois Lane...) much the same way as Megan Fox was rammed down our throats after Transformers and Keira Knightley after Pirates of the Caribbean, you can't go to a casting thread for ANY female role without "Olivia Wilde" being deemed the PERFECT choice. This seems to be despite the fact that she has yet to shown herself to possess any extraordinary acting skills. She's an average actress, she's not bad by any means, but she hasn't shown herself to be any better then the likes of other TV actresses trying to branch out into movies, like Jessica Biel or Blake Lively. At the end of the day, she's an OK actress with an incredibly unusual face who can read a line without making me cringe. I want more from Lois. I want an actress who will make it her own and totally kill it. Olivia Wilde is Olivia Wilde in every. single. role.
I do like her thoughNice girl.
Yep. Quorra and Thirteen are exactly the same.

I knew it. Women are threatened by her beauty.

Wilde is far better, and more versatile, than Biel and Lively, imo. I know everyone has a different perspective but, to me, Olivia is incredibly likable. She's intelligent, confident, funny and charming. All attributes that I believe Lois should have.
Gemma Arterton also has all those things and would be fantastic too. So does Rachel McAdams and Emily Blunt. There are a lot of good choices.
