She reminds me a little bit (which is a little bit too much) of Bosworthless.

i remember i saw a scene from that, i remember i said to myself that "maybe for Lois"., we need more pics of this chick. Kate Bosworth would have been great if she even acted like the Lois we had in our mind

Here's Olivia Wilde as the evil queen from Snow White:

Major transformation.

I'd actually like to know what roles she's displayed this supposed versatility. It seems like her name has only become prominent after the release of Tron and her supporting role on House.

Ok fine, Olivia Wilde DOESN'T look like Lois. She can act sure, she is hot obviously, but is she the perfect Lois...... no.. why you ask? Because she isn't, her face is what ruins it. Her face structure is just completely off for Lois.

How about that, since we don't know if she is great with Cavill right, we can only critique the look, and that is my critque. So everytime the SAME OLIVIA PICTURE IS POSTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, i will continue to express my opinion.

and guess what

I'M NOT ALONE ON THIS!

SO BAMMM

What? All this time, all this ranting you've done about how she is totally wrong for Lois, all that was about....her face? Okay....

And personally, and I'm sure that I'M not alone on this either, I think she has a great look for Lois, facial structure included. Actually, especially her facial structure. As others have pointed out, her facial structure makes her look mature and strong, which is what Lois should look like. IMO. Wilde does not look like a girl, she looks like a WOMAN. And a DAMN fine woman at that. Lois should look like a woman, and Wilde fits the bill of a modern, womanly Lois.

And BTW, the same picture of Wilde is not being posted over and over again. There have been countless different pictures of her that have been posted to show the range of looks she can pull off, from smokin' hot to kind yet beautiful in a mature way, etc. So I don't know where you're getting this notion that it's the same picture over and over again.

Those two examples are more than enough to show her versatility. She and Bridges were major bonuses to Tron, and in HOUSE she plays an entirely different character.

Yes, she satisfactorily delivered 2 distinct performances. Simultaneously none of which showed leading lady qualities. At least one that would carry an entire franchise. She's done fine as supporting other actors. I'm wondering if there are any other roles out there that has more depth and difficulty to justify her apparently large support for this very essential part.

You could've said the same thing for Henry Cavill. Minus the female-centric connotation.

This proofs my point about her face.

Lois's face should not be MATURE looking, that should not be the main trait. I non-mature looking face can act mature (Mila Kunis for example). What's MATURE have to do with anything. her face is perfect for that villianary role or the hot girl

HERE IS THE IMAGE OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN

Lois Lane is'nt queen Elizabeth for god sakes

I can't wait for them to announce Lois so this can be over and done with, AND I HOPE IT'S SOMEBODY WE DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF..... COME ON ZACH

In T:L, she was a leading lady. And has received earned praise for the role. She has shown she can act, she looks the part, and that's enough for most fans. After that, it's a matter of logging onto some internet forum and showing your profuse support.

No, I can't. He's had a fairly large resume for his age, and he's played whole slew of varying characters over the years.

Are you insinuating the only two roles for females are the throwaway love interest and the complex female figurehead? No? Then you're probably exaggerating.

You are saying that actresses should be typed-cast depending on their facial structures. That is shallow, that is silly, and that is why you have so much opposition on this board.

I don't think I'm going to be missing anything by placing director on my ignore list.

Please keep quoting of his posts to a minimum. Thanks.

Now respond to my point in an actual way instead of dodging.
you didn't see any point, you were taking jabs at my intelligence and made an overly simplistic justification of what i said
