I really really hope they do something about the movement, even if it's a spit on continuity's face, I just can't see Beast entering a room with just perfect model like posture.

about the movements, I have a strong feeling Beast could be one of the characters involved with CGI Bryan have talked about since months ago.

Mainly on action sequences, of course. Nicholas could do the motion capture for the Beast fights, and then the special effects house will do the rest, to make Beast moves and fight like a real beast, instead of a human trying to act as a Beast.

And I totally see that working, but I just mean when Beast is in a quite simple scene, entering a room, reacting to something, he has the most amazing perfect posture, and it shouldn't really bother me, but for some strange reason it just pulls me out of the effect.

They are already working on cleaning up things.The Singer approved designs are more like classic beast.So no more Catbeast.

It will be easier to believe now Kelsey Grammer was older version of Nicholas Hoult's beast.

Anything that restricts facial acting should have been discarded in pre-production. I'm honestly surprised it made it to screen.

Beast from FC looked great in a suit (especially with his back to the camera!) but the make up job was unfinished/1st stage. He looked like a human painted blue with long hair and long facial hair. Human teeth! He just didn't have a layered beastly look to him at all and maybe now people can see this image they can see what we were talking about.

Cat beast was just different compared to kelsey grammer in blue fur, but it did have its problems on screen though.

I do think this one will be the right mixture of both

Catbeast was result of Matthew Vaughn liking that version.If Vaughn had stayed on as Director Last Stand Kelsey Grammer would have played that version of Beast.Bryan Singer
liked the classic version of beast.Plus this also helps move first Class and trilogy better together.

Very promising pic. It looks like Beast's face could actually be mobile; I did not mind the design for Beast in FC but his face just looked so frozen. Did not ruin the movie for me since the transformation happened so close to the end anyway, but this next movie clearly required improvements. Looks good and I am glad they kept the yellow eyes.

FC Beast was when he just turned blue and furly. Let's just say 10 years later, he has grown and resulted in new look.

I hope Beast and Mystique get to fight in this movie !
