I watched the Oldboy remake over the weekend to check out Ms Olsen's acting.

Let's just say I saw a lot more than I was expecting.

Her performance was good also. One of the few good things about the movie.

There a is way they could reveal Magneto is there Dad without revealing it's him at all well it turns out his name is not Eric but it's Max! if just say there Dad is name Max no harm done.

I'm going to "assume" that First Class is canon in the Avengers universe and Fassbender's Magneto is Wanda and Pietro's father.

It doesn't look like DOFP is going to show the present so I might be able to work that into my customized canon also.

My interpretation is that the X-men and the Avengers exist in alternate realities, in the X-men's universe they have been isolated by an evil corporation who kidnap heroes and disfigure them beyond recognition.

Mine is that they exist in the standard MU but by some coincidence never ever bump into or hear of each other and are all always asleep during the other's crisis events and resolutions.

They could have at least made it unique but it's so generic ( and slightly emo with those wrist things and black eye makeup)

I think they should have gone for the concept art instead of this

Now I'm dying to find out if the twins have Eastern European accents. They ditched that for Natasha, and it's logical enough --- a Russian spy wouldn't be very good if she spoke English with a thick, obvious accent --- but in the case of the Maximoffs, it doesn't appear that they've had time to travel the world very much....[BLACKOUT]or even beyond the confines of HYDRA dungeons, for that matter. [/BLACKOUT] So it would make more sense for them *not* to speak Americanized English. (Maybe even no English at all yet, tbh.)

Don't forget Wanda and Vision fall in love. Don't know if they will go there with Paul Bettany being obviously much older than Elizabeth but it will be interesting to see how they play it out if they do. They have such a unique relationship.

Last time I checked women have been wearing makeup like eye shadow long before this whole "emo" thing came about.
