Kinda looks like a flannel shirt around her waist.

Not likely; what would be the point? She's already got a long blouse with a leather jacket over top of that --- a flannel shirt would be a redundant layer. Besides, there seems to be black pearls/beads hanging from the sash as well, and that's more gypsy fashion coming into play.

I love the concept for SW. I think she'll wear something more of a costume near the end of the film but given how well these guys have started, I think they've got a good chance of getting that right too. And I always thought SW would be a very hard character to get right.

That's not surprising.

And why are you saying that?

Of course if her costume is more similar to the comics or at least the Ultimate comic-books, I would have liked it but no.

you seem to imply that I didn't like it, because I'm anti MCU and I'm a blind X-Men fan, which are not true. I'll give MCU/Marvel Studios credit where credit is due.

He was so much not a fan that he took the time to post them in the DoFP thread so he could also tell all of those people how unimpressed he was. :o
Too be fair, that is what has been happening with the DoFP QS pics as well.

I don't understand how someone could be disappointed with the design. It was clear they weren't going to go with the suit from the comics, mostly because its impractical and kinda ugly.
They could have easily redesigned the core elements of the outfit and still make it fitting for film while being distinctly "Wanda".

What exactly is wrong with something like this:

Especially compared to what everyone else in the Avengers is wearing?

I honestly don't know why we are having that conversation when we still have no idea why they are wearing the clothes they are wearing.

Yeah, I highly doubt that's her get up for being a member of the Avengers.

Don't both start off as
prisoners of Hydra?
Would assume they are gonna be in multiple wardrobe changes through out the film and she will have something more akin to the source (but not exact) by the end of the film.

I like the outfit to me I see it as Prototype SW I mean look at IM he went threw bunches of suits till he got the red and yellow one! same with CA!

I wonder if she has to wear those gloves because she can't control her powers and it's dangerous for her to touch things with her skin? Somewhat like when she was first introduced and she couldn't control her hex powers that well.

Remember, Joss is a fanboy. There was no real reason to put Captain America in spandex in The Avengers, but he did it anyway. I think it is likely that she'll be wearing something closer to her comics outfit by the end of the film (although I doubt it will be an exact representation).

Possible, although they might consider it too close to Rogue.

Since Rogue isn't in their universe i don't think they care lol

Not a fan of SW's "costume". However, the glowing eyes do look great.

Hence why I put the word in quotes. Either way, I'm not a fan of the look. If she gets a costume I'm hoping she gets it early on.

Meh... :( Is it her look from the upcoming movie?

Looks amazing and I really am grateful but...(sorry)...is anyone else a bit worried that she might end up like a jean grey rip off?

Wanda's outfit looks perfect to me. It's composed of the sort of clothes someone her age would wear, instead of being something overly theatrical and costume-like. Wanda and Pietro didn't set out to be heroes or villains so it doesn't make sense for them to have some sort of special clothes they wear into battle. Their look will evolve, though, because every Marvel character changes costumes constantly.

Well, it sounds like she is but I don't really care as long as it fits the purposes of the movie. Her powers from the comics are too complicated and were never going to work on screen as they are presented there anyway.

^ precisely how I feel about Quicksilver (Fox)
Do you really have to bring that up

And because I can't help myself, that Quicksilver outfit doesn't look like something anyone at any age in any time period would wear. Not as a civilian or hero.

She looks like Jean Grey or Rachel Summers. Great job on whoever drew it since it looks exactly like Olsen!

It seems some of the core elements are intact. They have the red colour scheme, they have the jacket segueing right into gloves, they have a dress, albeit not a mobility-limiting pencil skirt that goes down to her feet and leaves flowing trails to trip her up. I like the look for the movie, though more red in the outfit wouldn't hurt.

Scarlet Witch's power is nothing like Jean Grey's, not to mention they don't even look alike (Wanda is brunette, while Jean is a ginger), so I won't worry about that.
