It’s important to remember that during the Batman Begins roundtables at WonderCon in 2005, Christian Bale told us that he had a clause in his contract that one of the three films he was signed on to do could in fact be an ensemble picture. Now, at the time, everyone was thinking Batman vs. Superman (please excuse the old school iesb) but it could just as easily be something like Justice League.

Well i liked it too Kak as a lot of people too.

and as a lot people didn't .

you know far well now that much more than any other film since recent memory it is split in half ( at least for the fans .. as far as i know the public liked it without thinking it was the end of it all and , generally the movie had good reviews)

I disagree with them as well, in regards to the beating scene. I thought it was actually shocking to see something like that in a Superman movie and thought it was some refreshing violence.

The best scenes in the movie to me was the sequence of Superman saving the plane. That did it for me.

to see an icon , in a way from "another time" " more decent" , "pure" get beaten like that by humans the way it was done , was very powerful to me .

and Yes , of course the plane sequence was thrilling : a tour de force..A sign of things to come?

I would support it, but everything Signer does in his movies is subdued...

and there's nothing subdued about Superman.

I thought the plane sequence was as Superman should be potrayed. Overcoming obstacles and doing anything in order to save the people he has grown to love and been accepted by. The way he handled himself during that sequence is more of what I want to see in a sequel.

If WB doesn't allow Nolan to do three Batman movies I will never again see a WB film - that would be the dumbest mistake ever. Nolan and Singer should do their trilogies then a JL movie should be made - preferably without Supes and Batman, thus allowing smaller characters to be introduced...

Although I have many problems with SR, Singer should be allowed to at least do a trilogy as well as Nolan. Then the JL movie should come.

I don´t think that´s gonna happen, given that all leaked information on the BB sequel is the story is gonna be pretty tied up to the third movie, and Two-Face is expected to show up in some way in the second one to be the main villain in the third.

Well technically Two Face could be one of the villians in a Batman-Superman movie or JLA movie. It doesn't have to be a Batman movie if they are still following the same story arcs.

I kinda thought the same thing for a second but if a JL needs to be formed than they better be fighting something much more intimidating than Two-Face! I guess his story could be wrapped up in the JL movie but I wouldn't like that.

Well I would assume he would just be one of the villians, you could use Intergang, Falcone's Gang and one or two other villians. Who knows.
