and the superman franchise doesn't?

Hobbit might not make it, they got legal problems
ummm....shouldnt it be trouble for the hobbit to open the same month as superman? not the other way around?
Take a look at the BO numbers of the previous installments of both franchises. Then ask yourself that question again.
and because of those problems they are doing this movie.and the superman franchise doesn't?![]()
no, i get that. its a fair point. i guess im looking at the big picture and the full potential of superman. should superman fulfill that intention, and thats obviously the goal, then there will be no competition. the hobbit at it's very best could never come close to superman at his best.
and because of those problems they are doing this movie.
you dont think hobbit opening same month as superman would be bad for supes box office...?
I don't think they will be in the same month, so I'm not worried about it.
I also didn't notice a date in the press release for Hobbit, did you?
Even if they were in the same month, it would be 3 weeks apart. Avatar and Alvin & The Chipmunks 2 didn't seem to have a problem with it.
Lord of the Rings movies came out in december and Bond usually does too.
i was about to say that. Avatar pretty much redefined the definition of a Blockbuster movie and it was released in December. if people like the trailer, they're gonna see the movie regardless of what time of year it is.so did avatar the highest grossing film in history
