The difference there is that Bale had weighed around 190lbs before he dropped down to 110lbs for The Machinist. When you've been a certain weight before it's easier to go back to it.

Just saw a trailer for "The Rite" with Anthony Hopkins. Don't know if he has been mentioned yet, but there's a guy in the movie named Colin O'Donoghue. I saw him in the trailer and instantly said "THAT dude looks like he could play Superman."

If casting for the "Earth One" Superman, sure, maybe. He's listed at 5'11" and has a kind of.... droopy-eyed, mournful look. Appropriate, perhaps, for the Superman of "Earth One," but not exactly a strong, confident physical presence.

I think he's working on the script with Goyer now, while finishing off Sucker Punch. But yeah, I think once Sucker gets released, Zack is going all out for Supes.
