I discard him for more than just his chin; I just agree with those who say his chin isn't defined/masculine enough.Said the one discarding Hammer for his chin...![]()

I hope that you are wrong, the best of that bunch imo.
i can believe Padalecki being looked at, possibly Vogel, but not Crawford and Cassidy. I know that we heard that the cap contenders could be looked at, but i can't believe that thos guys could. could be wrong of course.

I was going by who i think they would look.
But yes, i can't believe at those guys at all, Ledger factor or nott
(and personnaly i could see it with Ledger ) even more, imo, they are not half the actor he was and i don't think that we can transform enough their features a la Joker to make anyone believe that they could be superman. Reeve was lightweight physically when they cast him, but you could see the potential.
maybe you're right that said![]()
What I meant is that Ledger was in the same position as those guys in 2000. Just another pretty boy for posters in teen girls' rooms. And man, was everybody wrong...![]()
Not really. Hammer doesn't look like Superman at all. In the chin, nose, eyes, eyebrows, hair, etc. Only one manip has made him look like a decent looking Clark. Big whoop, he's tall and was cast as Batman, never played him, in the failed/shelved JLA movie.Your post was ironic considering someone discarded Joe M for the same reasons you discard Hammer (nitpicking on a part of the face + acting ability)...I say it so that you don't get pissed if someone makes the same "crazy" comment to you. You've earned it with that post...![]()
Here are a couple of the most recent shots of Joe M.:

But to tell you the truth if there is a Manganiello on that list, i can't believe there would a Hammer, they just don't compute at all physically. I would think that the casting director would have some kind of pattern in mind (but then again John Krasinski has nothing to do with Chris Evans![]()

Hmm, his acting already had been noticed (Brockeback Mountain? ), even flicks not all that great .
Brokeback is 2005. I meant even before that. Try more like A Knight's Tale or The Patriot.
Holy crap, now it's two things!Majik and I agree about something! I don't see Hammer as Supes at all based on the looks department. With Joe, we can say he has the physically imposing build and stature, hair color and style, the chin, jawline, strong but kind eyes and strong features. What can we say about Hammer that gives him that "Superman look"?
I guess I was in a minority as I was excited about Ledger getting cast as the Joker.
Is it just me or is there a facial difference in these manips?

joe does'nt look a thing like superman either so i dont see how it can go one way but not the other
You really don't see it?

Really?
He looks more like TAS Batman there. And with the lighter weight he has now he even looks more of a sinister character rather than Superman. Doesn't have the friendly appearance IMO. Too thuggish.
