If Jon Hamm turns out to be Superman, I'll be severely disappointed. On the other hand, if he was Lex, I'd be ecstatic.

I doubt Joe M or Hamm will get it, it's early but not so early, if that makes sense.

However, Jackman won't be playing Superman, even if I think Wolverine 2 might not even happen at all.

In regards to Caviezel, he would be good, but unfortunately I think his time has come and gone.

They should look at Josh Duhamel then.

37 years of age, but still looks younger, is tall enough, experienced in working on big productions (Transformers) decent enough actor, and he has charisma. All he would need to do is bulk up.

Oh and more importantly, (to WB's studio heads apparently) Duhamel is AMERICAN.

Really Singer just made a bad film, stylized it incorrectly, did not feel modern.

He's been a favourite of mine for Superman for years.

Still don't know if Joe's a good actor or not, but I just watched that vid of him talking to Jillian Barbarie and those other news anchors and I can't help but want to pull for the guy. He seems like a really cool dude in real life, and as a Pittsburgher myself, I'd have to say that it would be cool seeing a diehard Black & Gold fanboy land the role.

At this point, I'd be happy with Joe, unless I see some clip of his acting that makes me do a 180. The only other actors I like for the role are Hamm and Cavill, though even I've pretty much given up hope on the latter.
