The Official Superman Fan Art & Manips Thread - - Part 11

I can't stand his **** so I ignored him...it's getting to the point of ridiculousness

^ Now Dips is just TROLLING. Supes might not need to work out in the traditional sense, but he never let himself go THAT bad. I know Diaper probably has a limited reading ability, but here goes:

Donner on advice to MOS filmmakers: "I don't think I can help them in any way except by patting them on the shoulder and wishing them all the luck in the world. "

On Zod: " He doesn't belong to me. He belongs to the world of Krypton and he's just another part of the Superman anthology of villains. The best part about Zod is that he makes an incredibly worthy adversary for our hero. That's why he's so great."

So, if guys like Dips are more possessive about Superman and his characters than the great Richard Donner, maybe they undermine the legacy of the titular character by ending his significance in culture by movies over twenty years of age.

i like the Donner movies, but i dont think he is the man when it comes to Superman... no one is, honestly. everyone has their own opinion, and i just leave it at that.

but honestly, i couldn't help but laugh at dips last drawing... i mean, really, it looks like a drunken elf/Irish guy on a boat... kinda reminds me of Russell Crowe too :p

I don't enjoy ANY of the things he posts...he's just making fun of everything they release

Yeah he's on the TASM2 thread too. It's weird. I don't know if he's poking fun or what you just said. Whatever.

So on http://www.warbyparker.com/man-of-steel/men The MOS collection just came out and you can do a virtual try on, so I used one on Henry from MOS to see what he may look like in these glasses inspired by the movie.

This style of frame - black, oversized eyepiece - has been popular with young guys in high-tech offices for a while now. In my office a couple guys who don't need glasses actually had pairs made up with non-prescription glass used. They wanted the look. Seems like a good marketing move.
