Very nice DK. I am going to further this memorial with the unseen works of SFA.

A few months ago, prior to the mysterious disappearance of SFA, he and I were starting work on a Batman comic that featured Catwoman.

I had begun sending him story outlines and he had begun preliminary art.

Here's an image of Selina Kyle (he was going to refine her features, make them a bit more feminine)

I tried to write my tale through parallel storytelling. Interweaving the stories of Bruce and Selina and connecting them when appropriate, whether it be a meeting of Bruce and Selina or Catwoman and Batman.

And without even describing what I was going for, just by reading my outlines SFA picked up on this theme. He was very intuitive. His art for the opening pages reflected this symmetry. I didn't even ask for this juxtaposition, but he could just see it and it came out beautifully.

Furthermore, I was really going to build up the growing loneliness and isolation of Bruce Wayne. He realized how alone he was when the role of Batman kept keeping him from connecting with Selina, the first girl he felt this way about in some time. So I wanted a lot of symbolism and imagery to show this loneliness. And SFA knew exactly how to depict it.

It was like he was living in my brain. This image of Bruce Wayne, walking through his hall after arriving late for his date with Selina due to breaking up a robbery. He returns home, desolate, and SFA showed it so well.

If he's out there, his talents will bring him much success. I only wish he would return and share his art with this board once again.
