if they dont start the marketing soon then not alot and they should of put a teaser for this months ago

if they do it soon, its still in june... i dunno. i think it will do ok.

 

With little to no awareness about this film being raised by marketing...

they shouldn't expect any higher than 30 to 40 million opening weekend.

 

My vote is 300-350 million because this film will be more faithful than the last one.

 

lol at the people who think TIH will make 300 mill... 150 or there abouts IMO, the last film will hurt this no matter what they do.

 

300+ million? What? Are you crazy? 200 is possible but 300?

 

12.97 dollars. theyre only going to release it in a bar in san francisco for 1 night. that way people will be so ravenous for the movie theyll make so much money on the dvd sales. thats the marketing plan, and i should know, im making the movie.

LOL! You guys are giving it the same box office the first one had, about $300 million, and that film was considered a bomb!

 

the horrible WOM was the biggest factor IMO. If TIH can get 300 mill around the world with a low opening, then i think Marvel will be happy with that.

Well, this film has zero WOM aside from the "Wheres the posters and trailer" talk. The trailer better be pretty slamming at this point to get some predestined negative heads to turn the other way.

 

Hulk made $300 mil domestic or worldwide in 2003?

 

It didn't make 300 Worldwide, never mind domestic: The domestic take was 132m, with overseas takings at 113m. Worldwide total= 245 million.

I guess the after sales market (DVD and other merchandising) might have bumped that up to the 300m mark by the end, but what is seldom taken into account when such figures as cited as signs of something 'succeeding' as it did make a profit, is the overhead costs incurred on each project. All these big figures are the gross after all's said and done. How much real profit there was will often be far less than people might think.

 

I'm going for 150-175 Million . If they had marketed this movie better , i might have gone for 200 million. So far with no trailer yet i just don't see Hulk going higher then 180 million.

this thread is futile, there's no point speculating because it ultimately has no affect on your viewing pleasure.
