Great Avatar ^

Thanks! It's even cooler printed on a Tee... :woot:

Some more nuggets via IMDB...

Michael Buster is the dialect coach. Most likely working with Jamie Bell, but maybe Kebbell as well?

Corey Calliet - Fitness trainer. Props to this guy for making Teller and Bell look pretty good so far.

Terry Notary - Movement choreographer. Interesting. Who would need that? Maybe Bell?

Stacey Butterworth - wig maker (Toby Kebbell)

It's a lot like a dialect coach, only instead of working with languages and accents, they work with various movements.

Every actor working on Rise/Dawn of the Apes worked with a movement choreographer to learn how to move like an ape.

Alan Cumming also worked with a movement choreographer on X2 - so it's not always specific animals. Sometimes it's creature movements.

Please, just not another wig for Sue......

Mara is rocking the blonde right now. I think it looks good on her. :)

It is interesting that they've got a wig-maker listed specifically for Kebbel. Has Doom ever been portrayed with long hair? I wonder why Kebbel's natural hair wouldn't work.

Makes sense. Thanks for the description.

Depends on the nature of his 'change'. Suppose as part of the incident that changes him he ends up having a shaved head. For filming purposes, it would be likely that he has his head shaved from the beginning and just wears a hairpiece for pre-incident scenes.

That's an interesting point. On a related note, the wig could be a patchy mess with some hair and some scarred spots. In either case, it might point to a more traditional Doom and not the UFF Doom.

Or is that just wishful thinking?

Lot's of actors wear wigs for films, even if they're not rocking some crazy DBZ hair for the role. Heck, some actors are follicly challenged and need wigs for regular hair styles.

Throwing a guess out there, though, it could be for Tim Blake Nelson. I seem to remember Ultimate Mole Man having somewhat longish hair, at least on one occasion.

Eh, I could still see Mole Man getting a wig (since it seems we're getting more of an Ultimate version). I'd have to agree with the guess that Kebbell might have had a shaved head, then. The untrusting part of me that likes very little of what he's heard on this film does have a nice little mental picture of Doom growing some Goat horns and fur on top of his head to go with the legs, though... :oldrazz:

Is it just me that finds it SO bizarre that they're still making her blonde?

Physical apearance isn't in anyway part of what defines Johnny Storm, but being Blonde is a vital part of Sue's character?

They were contractually obligated to make one character resemble their comic counterpart. :o

I'm generally for using a little hair dye for these sort of things (One of the many lazy things in DBE, for example, was leaving Chatwin's hair brown. Some of the merch actually went with black hair, presumably to make it a tad bit more like the real Goku.). I can see your point, though. It is sort of strange that one character is getting a more accurate look.

Getting so tired of the flamebait in the other thread. I've reported some but it seems it just keeps falling on deaf ears every time. :whatever:

Not when you're negativity is actually trolling. I've said it many times that I don't care what anyone's "feelings" are toward the film. Heck, I know Willie isn't hot on the film yet I can read his posts and respect everything he says.

If someone posts something that isn't vile hatred, you make sure to give some flaimbait response. EVERY TIME. It's rude and childish. But you apparently get a pass, so good for you.

That would have been just fine. But you couldn't leave it at that, could you?

The positive guys are not Fantastic Four fans that is obvious

Nah... you had to take it where you always do...

Unnecessary.

His Apes and X-Men examples show just that. 2 other damaged properties from the same studio, no less.

We will just have 2 agree 2 disagree
