The Positive Thread

The bad buzz will definitely continue until Fox releases something.

You'd think Fox surely knows about all of the negativity associated with this film. How can they think it's a good marketing idea to pretend like production never happened?

It is weird. They're probably doing the usual where they start promoting six months before release, but it's not a good idea to let people fester with poor set pics and unsubstantiated rumours. They can ignore the haters, as they've said they won't be paying to see it but they should provide something for those interested in the movie

Then why are the negative folks saying negative things in the POSITIVE thread??

Telling anybody that they can not post in any part of the Hype is a no no

Like any of you guys stay on topic in a thread (for example) where everyone wants the rights to revert ? Both sides are guilty of going in threads & not being on topic based on the title of the thread

Back on topic (something positive) how do you guys think The Thing will sound? and how big will he be?

From the look of the bust he'll be fairly big. I'd say a little smaller than Hulk but bigger than Chikilis

It's exactly what I dreamed of! a bigger Thing :D he looks like actual rocks too!

You know you now can't say anything if you someone asks you to stay on topic in other threads

After Guardians of the Galaxy, I care so little about the Fantastic Four now that the fact that Fox are massacring it doesn't bother me any more. Thats a positive thing, right?

I'm being positive here. If this film turns out to be good enough to warrant a sequel, we get an amazing film. If it doesn't find an audience, we'll see the FF in the MCU. It's a win, win for the fans.

I mean, when you bring the film's lead writer to Comic-Con to have him talk about the 2016 X-Men movie instead, that's not a good sign.

I think you really have to look at what is going on here without the idea that it is a "blockbuster comic book to movie adaptation"....when you take it out of that category, what they are doing really isn't all that strange. If you put it into the category of "independent film" it is right on par.

I think FOx made good decsion to post pone release to august. And I am not shocked at all by this.I had thought for some time especilly after GOTG and TMNT they might do it to get it away from Jurasic world and terminater reboot.
Back In 2011 they put rise of planet of the apes In august and everybody thought that would be terrable and would bomb.

The delay is only a couple of months, it's not a big deal.

I'd still like to see something official from the studio though. I mean BvS was delayed a freakin year until 2016 and we get to see more from it than F4. I still have interest because of Trank and the cast but I won't have this interest forever.

You know, I told myself I'd give the film a chance. I like B Jordan as Johnny and defended that. I like Mera as Sue and didn't know the rest. I liked that Doom's guy Koba in DOTPOTA.

But now I've lost all hope. There isn't an actor who I would go out of my way to see this film. I think Doom looks like ****.

What pisses me off is this film took Fassbender's Assassin's Creed film that rumor has it, RDJ will be Da Vinci. Fass and RDJ get booted for this film so Fox can keep the rights.

You just made up some **** that is patently untrue. Creed got booted because it wasn't ready to shoot, it had nothing to do with FF.
