Let's keep this sophisticated, there will be no scarring of faces with acid or otherwise.

We just don't have the ability to do that through the internet at that moment, but Dr. Andy Brown and Dr. Emitt Brown are working on this as we speak.

Actor swappings dont click for me. That's why my mom quit her daytime soaps because of the recasts when she prefers the original actors of her beloved characters. It does not help Im so used to Holmes after repeated viewings of Batman Begins. I hope Katie works for Walt Disney the winning studio because her all American Girl Next door it belongs in that company. Madd Money has nothing to lose. Wild hogs is the 3rd movie Disney dont care for with a small budget but its making BANK. Last Monday they ask the DIG team if they want to revise a better site for Wild Hogs because its doing well at the box office but Disney didnt even bother. They're focusing on other big films that will make Mickey more richer. Yesterday more lay offs for GM,GE and Warner emloyees. Nice of Mickey to save the Warner employees.
All of the Disney sites are combined efforts of Disney and former WB employees.

I know Eclipse Advertising Agency hired by WB for many years now in charge of Harry Potter so I wonder who will be doing TDK?
Eclipse do a good job with their marketing efforts for Harry Potter.
TDK needs to beef up their site too and I worry when Warner no longer has a online dept.

The only actors I didnt like from Superman Returns were Spacey and Bosworth. I like all the cast from Begins so yes Im not a fan of recasting.
Some feel its no big deal but trust me it makes a difference.
Katie is a real babe now so she leaves Batman. I suppose that's the new sacred rule in this franchise.

For right now, it just mean she will be in The Dark Knight. Rumors are that she will be somehow involved [BLACKOUT]when Dent becomes Two-face[/BLACKOUT]. If she dies in this movie, who knows? Probably only Nolan and Goyer would know.

It had nothing to do with that.

The idea was that Dent would get scarred protecting her. The two of them could certainly be together in a courtroom, which is where Dent's accident traditionally happens.

I agree. I hate recasting and maggie is too plain jane... in some movies she looks old than she is too...

1.) Maggie has a very similar look to Katie Holmes

2.) One of the things people always complain about with Katie is that she didn't look old enough for her character. Now you're complaining because you think Maggie looks older than she is? Can't win, can they?

3.) Reiterating the point that Maggie has a similar look to Katie - would it be jarring if they re-cast the role with an actress who had a totally different look? Maggie could pass for Katie's sister, doesn't that help maintain some continuity, despite the re-cast? It does for me.

maggie is like 2 face herself...one movie very cute..another not eh so much....check out secretary or stranger than fiction...she is strangely attractive...

and besides we get rid of joey potter....it was like having a rainy day and then out of nowhere some damn purple bunny would jump out at you...she didnt belong and stuck out likea sore thumb...she would have been better if they had shown her other attributes like they did in "thank-you for smoking" which incidentally..stars mr harvey dent himself

Maybe but i doubt it since it will be seen by most as merely unimportant either way except for it screws continuity.

At least she isn't going to be killed by The Joker,i prefer this Harvey getting scarred saving her idea a lot more.

Maggies is a awesome actress. A step up in talent caliber than Holmes, imo. In looks, a step down but the role doesn't require the actress to be 'hot' by definition.

This cast is really A list caliber now, from top to bottom. I'd be really surprised if at least 1 person from the assemle didn't get an oscar nod in 2009.

2.) I never said she looked too young. I just don't think Maggie is all the that pretty... and she does look alot older than "SHE" is in some movies I've seen. Maggie is a better actress no doubt, I just don't like the charcter.

3.) True, but I just hate re-casting. Sorry, I just do. I'm very surprised that Nolan is going with this. I wouldn't think he was the type of director do re-cast. I thought for sure he would have been more creative and put a new charcter in the role. Besides he was quoted that the Rachel charcter was made for Holmes, re-casting throws that right out the window.
