but the character of Rachael Has to go.She's not In the Comics,She's just a childhood friend (Tommy would of be cooler) and In the second one she's just there to introduce Harvey Dent.So I'm Hoping Mister J Kills her off.Will Put a Big Scar for Batman and Make Him hate Him more because he killed Rachel.(because It doesn't seem we are getting robin anytime soon that Joker can mess with)

But If Rachel Stays atleast we have a better Actress this time and some could debate a hotter one

I'm just glad Maggie's on board for this film (i.e., TDK) instead of Holmes. It's almost akin to Gepetto watching his 'son' Pinnochio transform into a real boy. Dawes is finally a character of substance.

The discontinuity between actresses used to bother me, bu it doesn't bother me anymore. I think Maggie is a wonderful actress and I hope that she comes back for one more

agreed, and i think she looks more like a DA than holmes did. Homes looked more like one of bruces random dates than a DA. But im hoping selina is brought it so i dunno, i dont want them to kill rachel,but at the same time i do to include selina, unless they do a love triangle or have rachel leave somehow

I dont find her to be anywhere near as attractive as Katie Holmes. Not even in the same league. However, maggie has never been Cruised, so she's got that going for her.

I say kill her. I dont want Batman to have a girlfriend. She means more to him dead than alve (in future movies I mean)

Yeah I was surprised how hot Maggie looked. Almost as hot as Katie. I don't know...I just have a thing for those brown-haired, brown-eyed honeys. Maybe b/c my ex was like that. Very hot. She was hotter than Maggie and Katie combined cuz she had(and obviously still has)the sexiest nose I have ever seen on a human being! She was so beautiful and had such an amazing body but that nose really sealed the deal. I can't even describe it but it was sooooo cute and sexy!

No one in the film has hinted at it. It's been pure fanboy speculation. A good number of fans didn't like the character, so they started to hope that Joker might kill her in TDK.

I think it's possible.

Batman is still the main act, with Joker clearly as the main-draw/badguy. Then you have Alfred giving advice, Gordon doing his thing, and Dent supposedly taking up a great deal of screen time...

Obviously Rachel will have a lot of screen time with Dent (regardless of whether or not they're in a relationship) but with new characters coming up I've come to question what her role will be in the film.

But she did look hot in the trailer.

If that's the case, I don't think Nolan would go thru the burden of putting a new actress (a good one) in the role after Katie backed out if the character is just going to be "there" and worthy of scrapping out the character entirely. But anything is possible.

That's another thing Maggie has going for her. She's a true professional.
I used to love and respect Katie Holmes. I had so much hope for her when she was cast and really looking foward to her performance. I actually defended her a couple of times.

Then that whole TomKat debacule started. I remember the Batman Begins premeire when they were parading themselves around the red carpet in LA. Then all the entertainment sites were reporting on TomKat at the BB premeire and hardly anything about the movie itself. It was sad. When Katie was on the talk shows promoting BB, she talked mostly about Tom. It sickened me! She had no respect for the people who worked hard on that film and she spent most of her time parading her private life to the world. She was supposed to promote BB...but she didn't do much of it. She mostly promoted her relationship with Tom and that upset me.

Although I will give her credit...she did all right in BB.
Maggie will do better...and she will be a professional through out!
