The difference with Maggie is she is ugly, not the greatest actress in the world and I dont see her saving Batman or finishing the joker but the other way around.

I don't think she's supposed to do those things.

her video showed her supporting Sarsgaard latest film but she refused to sign for a female fan then told the reporter Americans should be more cultured than celebrity obsesss.

Well on Elijah Wood's messageboard on imdb there is some troll who has like dozens and dozens of different aliases and starts threads that are made up completely of he/she/it carrying on this incoherent rambling conversation with themself, all the posts are in the same broken English sentence structure. I'd say the majority of fans still find Katie to be the worst thing about Batman Begins.

Hollywood I think didnt really improve their writing on this women for superhero films. Margot Kidder was edgy but annoying,Basinger was just sex on legs, the other ladies for other superhero films are crappy same way with the previous women for Batman. Just because Paltrow,Tyler and Gyllenhaal are in it the public wont change their views. Its not really some kind of female empowerment. In the past they are lovely generic women who have jobs who like men in costumes rescuing them. As I've stated before on this issue, I'm glad that Nolan is making this movie primarily for the fans that have evolved above thinking with their ****s. I just don't understand these kinds of crybaby rants. Personally, I'm into guys and do not find Christian Bale that attractive, but I haven't ever complained about his casting as Bats because I think he makes a great Batman. And I'd rather have a great Batman than a cute face in rubber (there are other movies I can watch to see that sort of thing ). Also, the fact that you apparently lump Pfeiffer's Catwoman performance in with those "crappy" performances from other actresses in hero films kills what little credibility you might have had in my eyes.

I suppose refusing to sign an autograph makes her a horrible person. I bet you'd be jumping for joy to do so if you had people thrusting things to autograph in your face all the time. Also, I don't see the controversy in her statement that Americans shouldn't obsess so much over celebrities. Do you think we Americans need to obsess over them more?

When ask if she will do more blockbusters she said she's now embracing the idea more but feels she should stick to her Indie cred because only true actors should stay away from frivolous and unsavory mainstream movies. I respect more actors that are in good honest spirit to admit they do certain movies to enjoy and for money than snubby people like Maggie who act like every piece of crap they churn out are quality.

"Only true actors"? Even if she really believed that, I doubt that she'd make such a childish and elitist statement in public. It'd be nice if you could present some evidence for your claims (as opposed to a link that just leads to the home page of a tabloid site) so that, you know, people have no reason to assume that you're lying or blatantly misquoting her.

They did. It's extremely creepy, but I remember checking in on the Katie Holmes board on IMDb...and this creepy stalker had all these different screen names, using them to support darling Katie til the bitter end of any and every argument. It was proven...I think they're on here too.

Yeah Im accused of not being a Batman fan but has only known Kevin Conroy since meeting him on the private screening at the WB lot for SubZero 1998 thanks to my friends Publicity Director of Home Video Ronnie Sass and Jeff Baker the WB general manager and Home Video Senior VP.
I have to mention Katie because my buddies fill me in how she and Cruise visit Warner every 3 months because they just make him select any script that spikes his interest. When I mean they I mean Alan Horn and Jeffrey Robinov. Cruise was close buddies with former WB boss Terry Semel who now left Yahoo. Ofcourse I almost choked on my soda to see the $$$ Warner will pay Cruise and Denzel to do 28th Amendment.

And dont be surprise when Warner will team up Cruise and Will Smith or Cruise and Christian Bale for some real good project.
My gut feeling says Rachel Dawes and most of this superhero girlfriend roles are superflous and Rachel getting whacked by the Joker or some other villain will only evoked giggles from women and cheers from men.
