The Reboot Joker

I'm all for seeing Joker again but it's time for other villains to be featured from both Batman's and Superman's rogues galleries.

It is 22 years since movie audiences last saw The Penguin, and it will be 20 years since they saw The Riddler next year.

In the long run, would probably be a better idea to give either them or other villains a chance to shine before bringing in the Joker again. Although they should definitely make sure he's introduced in this franchise. It's only right to do so at some point.

Maybe save it for the third film this time around?

I don't want the Joker in this film or Justice League and I'd want the likes of Riddler and Mr Freeze to get some love in solo Batman films before we see Joker again.

I wouldn't mind if they hinted at him though.

Lol. The Joker needs to be there and I think he'll get a nod in DoJ. and appear in the next solo Batman.

Yes I want to see Riddler and Mr Freeze get a proper portrayal before I see Joker again.

I'm sorry to ask this, but why is this thread still going?

There is a possibility that Joker may be involved. Snyder has frequently mentioned TDKR as an influence on this film, and a primary villain in that is Joker.

I wouldn't be completely surprised if certain elements of The Dark Knight Strikes are used as well. Say what you will about that book, but it had some great art and some great concepts. It's not TDKR obviously, but it had some potential and some things about it still hold up.

LOL Dicaprio does look very Joker here, but I'm not sure how his still somewhat youthful voice would work out.

I wonder if we'll get a post-credits Suicide Squad teaser in BvS. Supposedly Nolan was adamantly against it in MOS, but he's not involved anymore. Snyder might have also been against it though, I'm not sure.

Anyway, if we DO get one, I wonder if it could be a quick scene involving the Joker. Maybe a scene with Luthor or Waller visiting him at Arkham and asking him where they can find Harley.

If the rumors are true and Joker shows up in Suicide Squad I'm going to have a nice long meanspirited laugh at the "retire a character that has been around for 75 years because an actor died" cult. Oh I'm going to enjoy seeing those obnoxious loons squirm. I could not hate people who think that enough.

Same. It would be 8 years since Ledger. More than enough time IMO. Seriously, that cult needs to make like Elsa and just "Let It Go."
