The Flash The right kind of Vibe - the Cisco Ramon thread

I know it's just a joke, but since this is a direct reference to 'the bat cave' and Batman actually exist within this world, yet nobody within that world knows that Batman has a hideout called the Bat cave if comes off as kinda ....weird......

Well, there really was an Arrow cave in the comics, along with an Arrow car, an Arrow plane, etc.
It's really just Ramone being Ramone, doing his usual codename shtick.

I like how Cisco doesnt have powers because it shows that not all heroes have powers, but yeh you know, it would be cool if he did have powers. just sayin...

Oh yeah, that Vibe tease in the PaleyFest promo. :woot:

Gotta admit, it was really hard at first watching the scene between Cisco and Wells, and I mean that in a good way of course.

I really liked the added drama of seeing Cisco expressing both his fear in knowing that he was a goner the moment Wells showed up and from feeling betrayed by Wells at the same time.

I can't wait to hear, though, about Cisco's future since it was said by the producers that Wells will make a comment about Cisco's future as Vibe.

ok i just needed to ask this but.... Cisco isnt really like goners is he? :gngl:

because if he is... :csad:

He is alive. Barry [BLACKOUT]went back in time[/BLACKOUT] at the end of the episode.

And yeah, that could be some prototype glasses for a future Vibe. :woot:

Cisqo Ramon may not be related to Razor Ramon, but I wished he would perform the Razor's Edge on Wells.

While I'm not in a rush to see Vibe any time soon on this show (though I'd like to see it eventually). I would hope that when they do that Cisco/Vibe isn't still part of the pit crew dynamic he and Snow have with Barry and that he's more independent within the show as Vibe. Though with how things look to be progressing with Reverse Flash it looks like there will be a fair amount of change there come the end of this season regardless.

Though with the prospect of a superhero team-up show spin-off from Flash/Arrow I wonder if they couldn't just turn Cisco into Vibe sooner and make him a regular on that show.

Lol.

Dammit, I wished the show had the guts to actually kill him off. Bad character.:csad:

why do you think hes a bad character?

The nerdy but smart younger guy who makes bad jokes is a character that for me is done to death. The actor isn't doing it for me either. Tom Cavanagh on the other hand... he really killed it in their last scene :yay:

I disagree, I accept your opinion but I quite enjoy nerdiness and idiotic humour :)

I think the naming trope can be a bit much. I think the naming trope works better for someone like Michaelangelo in TMNT, but here it runs the risk of being a bit too goofy for this show. Some of those moments have been a little weak for me, but overall I like Cisco's character and portrayal and I really thought his scenes this episode were among his best.

Yeah, I know a lot of people like him, he's just not my cup of tea. Considering it looks like he will stay on, I just hope that he will grow on me.

I would have to agree with you. I sometimes find him annoying in some episodes. Although in this past episode, having him show fear and emotion was a good change for once.

Which might be true if that was all there was to the character. Except he's also the one most frequently delving into the darker side of things - being the one who sealed Robbie into the chamber, who'd thought to develop Captain Cold's freeze gun as a contingency should they need to defeat the Flash, who'd been the most willing inside Team Arrow (bar Joe, who's still somewhat of an outsider) to suspect Wells and acting on said suspicions, etc.

Do we know that's for certain? Just because Barry travelled back in time doesn't mean everything will be undone. Considering that he saw himself arriving from the future at the start of the episode, time travel might be based on pre-destination in this universe.

Well he seems fine in the next episode promo. It looks like they've moved onto other things after defeating Weather Wizard. If it was still happening then they likely he would be dead by that point.

Sure, there are some other parts to him, but, in the end he always goes back to what he does for most of the time, being cheesy and not very interesting.

Actually, I don't know, I'm just going from what other people have said.

But that's the thing, isn't it? The show could simply be lulling us viewers into a sense of security. It could very easily be the case that while Barry gets some success in changing history, but time having a habit of righting itself in the end.

As such, do we we have any reference to Cisco in Episodes 17 onwards?

Agreed. With a title like "Rogue Time", it might feature the repercussions of Barry interfering with history.
