The Spider-Man 3 FAQ Thread

there's gonna be some promotions in wal-marts nationwide for the spider-man movie in march. Spider-Men will be making appearances in alot of the stores.

Aren't there going to be recopies of old Spidey comics placed inside newspapers too? Anyone else remember that old scoop?

Regarding Gwen and Captain Stacy, does anyone here know if Sam originally wanted them in 3, or if they were suggested by Avi?

i also heard about the old spiderman comics in newspapers

Yeah! I hope it's true and they didn't ditch the idea. Sounds like a big promotion if they'll cover the big local papers, although they almost got the Spider-man suit and webbing design on the bases for the world series a few years ago, for #2.

They've been running them in the newspaper here in Dallas for a while now. I know people keep giving them to me. Each week they reprint half of the original comic so 2 weeks covers 1 comic. So far I think they are up to Amazing Spider-Man 7 or 8 (I'm not really keeping track since my wife bought me the 40 year volumes on CD). It's cool though.

The Chicago Sun-Times has been doing it for a while now. :woot:

So I've made up my mind...with all these different "spoilers" and "rumors" about this movie, I'm gonna just forget about all of them and wait 'till May 4th until I see Spider-Man 3 and find out about the truths when I see it for the first time of many more numerous times to come...so, yah...from now on, I'm not believing anything...until I see it...so...GO MAY 4TH!!!!

I didnt quite know where to ask this but does anybody know around what time cinemas will take ticket bookings for Spider-Man 3? It'll be my first date with this girl i really like and were both massive Spidey fans. Not bad for a date, If the night goes badly, who cares im watching Spidey 3 on opening night :woot: yeah anyway, if someone could tell me id appreciate it alot, thanks

^Unless this is a long distance/internet relationship thing, its kind of wierd that you're waiting over 3 months for the first date!

But they usally sell them around 2 weeks in advance at the theaters that I go to.

I have tickets already. I have 3 more to give away. I had 10 in total.

I love being a privileged New Yorker :)

Intersting since there is no way that any theater has determined showing times 3 months in advance.

Without knowing the running time of SM3 or knowing when they can show the next show, how can they possibly print tickets? Unless it's for the first showing. In that case, I still don't believe it, but it's possible.

arright im confused about a certain scene so i was hoping someone could help clear it up for me..... somethins been bothering me about the scene where the symbiote takes over peter when hes in bed... i cant understand why peter would have gone to bed in his spiderman costume i feel like thats just something he wouldnt do to risk the event of someone going to his apartment... so i was thinking that maybe its a dream.... mayb the symbiote secretly latches onto peter whenever in the movie without peter realizing it.... then he has the dream of the symbiote taking over him in his bed... and then he wakes up and hes hanging upside down from a building with the black suit on... i could be way off but i was hoping someone knew how peters transformation into the black suit would really happen... if neone can gimme some info that would b great

well I heard some place but I forgot where that peter is exhausted from his fight with sandman so when he goes back to his apartment Mr. Dikovitch just stares at him because peters in his spidey suit. so anyway peter probably wouldn't care if he goes to sleep with his suit on he's way too tired to change into his normal cloths so thats probably an idea of what happens.
