Yep, I thought so, especially with the multiverse thing.

Well, it opens the door for new stories. Just means more work for DC Comics to maintain continuity and history (and us for readers to do the same).

STILL, Thor with ONE arm can't beat a guy who he has struggled with for years (Hulk) and the Thing at th SAME time.

Power and wielding said power really matters in the end. Despite having 1 arm, Thor still had the Odinforce.

Hell, Wolverine cut his arm off.

Adamantium is Adamantium (with some suspension of physics). I don't see why that's impressive.

Mmmm...Not the same Hulk though!

?

Yep, thats more hard work for the writers and us fans.

Yeah.

No it's not impressive, Wolverine was able to touch Thor, but Thor is slow...so nevermind.

I asked if WWHulk and Civil War Hulk was the same since it has some connections story-wise? But obviously not.

Well, that depends on how important continuity and history and keeping to them are to us

Yeah.

Been awhile since I read the Reigning and the previous stories leading up to it. Basically, Wolverine had the drop on Thor, who was preoccupied with something else. I can't really remember.

There's no Civil War Hulk. During the Civil War, Hulk endured his own hardships on Planet Sakaar -- the story known as Planet Hulk.

Yep, we have to fight the good fight!:woot:

Neither can I , but I know he got his arm cut off.:woot:

I know that!

How the hell did Hulk get Ko'd by Spider-man and Cap in civila war Fallen son? Is that same Hulk WWHUlk?

Though he lost an arm, Thor successfully ruled the world and killed the resistance in the Reigning.

Difference of power levels.

World War Hulk is Hulk supercharged by the warp core explosion on Sakaar and at his angriest.

The Hulk as remembered in Fallen Son was most likely Hulk early in his days (modern portrayal, instead of Silver Age), and is certainly less powerful.

Thor is actually very fast as are all the gods. Thor is several times as fast as Wolverine but they commonly ignore that.

Thor has been stated to move "as fast as the lightning" when he wants to. He just rarely ever seems to want to, if most of his writers are to be believed.

I remeber in an early Thor reprint in a U.K. pocket book he does Superman style tunneling at superspeed not spinning the hammer but digging.

He is Superfast when he is written to be.......

I'm guessing that was a reprint of one of his earlier adventures. He was written super-fast a lot more back then. By the '80s he had trouble keeping up with the freakin' Mongoose.

The poketbook was probably about 1980 so i'm guessing from the art the story was late sixties.

My fave Thors were between about 270 and the end of the Crusader story. After that Thor become poor. I know I am a minority but I hated Simonsons work.

I should post a picture of myself so that your newfound knowledge can spawn mental pictures that will haunt your dreams for the rest of your natural lives. :o
