...yeah...what is that thing? Bunched up Japanese looking thong.

...no BS, "it wasn't finished yet" ...you pin it in a way to depict how it "will be".

Yikes!

I would post an image but am fraidy scared.
Google, Men Japanese Underwear Rokushaku Fundoshi. Tradition sumo also.
Dead ringer.

It is a redickulas design, with the emphasis on the middle of the word...

Apologies if this has been pointed out already, but you can tell it looks like a thong because the sides of the briefs have been scribbled out with black pen on the photo - someone obviously wanted to see what that would look like. If you look hard, and look at other photos, you can see they look more like regular briefs. Still a bit skimpy, but nowhere near as bad as this "thong" look initially appears.

The **** is that? :funny:

So it's not on YouTube yet?

The guy who made the thing almost went broke doing so.

I'd be a hypocrite to talk against piracy but this is one of the few films I'd have qualms watching bootlegged. I hope people who really want to see it actually support the team behind it by paying.

It was a freaking kickstarter passion project not a big studio film.

Maybe he could put it on YouTube and charge people to view it, like a lot of studios are doing.

For those who bought the film, was it just simply a video file they give you or do you have to watch it in iTunes or something?

Once you purchase the film, you can watch it on their website and download it to your computer, ipod, etc. It's a good documentary and worth the money imo.

Thanks.

I've purchased it. Can you tell me how to download it?

When the film is playing on the web site, there should be options to download on the bottom or side of the screen (i can't remember exactly but i think it's on the bottom).

Say what you want but i can't knock Nic Cage or the film. It might have sucked it might have not but since when did we turn on our own. Nic Cage is one of us he is a fan boy a massive Superman fan. If any of us got an opportunity to play Superman I think we would take it. I don't think He should be made fun of for following his dream he named his kid kal el for **** sake. All I am saying is this used to be a community of superhero lovers who appreciated the ideals of the characters we cared for. Now everyone is so jaded and pessimistic about every little thing. I get my little spew doesn't mean much but i would think for people who feel so strongly for these characters they would maybe try to embody some of their ideals and picking on someone who already had his dream of playing his idol crushed is beneath us.

I thought it was just OK, some interesting stories and insight from those involved and it was pretty cool to see Cage's Clark and some more shots of the "almost" final suit but I wanted more out of it.

There is something that is intriguing me that I haven't seen mentioned in the recent comments (I might be wrong).

How will Superman suit? Will he wear it under his regular clothes? Or are they going to use the New 52 method?:

He's got to wear it under his clothes. That's part of the character. He switches from Clark Kent to Superman. That's one of the most interesting and fascinating things about the character. Imagine if you are Superman. Well, you're Clark Kent hiding your secret identity, then when trouble calls, you rip the shirt out and become...SUPERMAN.

That suit looks tight enough. Maybe it real life, for Cavill, that would be hard to wear underneath your reporter clothes, but it's Superman, he won't sweat. I hope they're not going to try and go for as realistic as possible, because it's Superman, and he can wear his suit underneath his reporter clothes. Because he's Superman.

Posted this in another thread:

But how will they manage this? If you compare the two pictures below, it's hard to imagine that he is wearing his suit under his regular clothes.

He could just change with super speed.

I get that, but where will he hide his suit?

Where ever he feels it's safe. If I remember correctly, on Smallville, Clark kept his regular street clothes in a gym bag before going the traditional route.

I'm of the group, hoping the suit is going to be shown as advanced krypto-tech (nano).

In 'the death of superman lives' we see some concept art and they explain this idea where instead of changing in a phone booth, Clark Kent would just rocket into the air and his civilian clothes would shed and burn off of him.
