Anyone else notice how weird the abs look? Like, they are off center?

Yeah, it looks like they are. I thinks its just the way it sits on the statue. Im sure this has been answered, but is the suit sculpted right onto the statue? Id say it isnt one of Cav-Els actual suits, right?

Yeah I think it's a scuplture, could be wrong though.

So the S, symbol of the house of El, has to look human? Because of that? And yeah, it looks like an S.

Except that, originally, it wasn't the symbol of the House of El or the Kryptonian symbol for hope. Pre-1978, the Superman shield was an S, for Superman.

I do like the whole "family crest" route though. I think it adds credability and deeper meaning for having an S on his chest. I mean just having it stand for Superman just seems a bit lackluster to me.

I'm really like the family crest/symbol of hope stuff. I grew up with it like that. But these days I prefer the S be designed by Clark himself, to specifically stand for Superman.

Well then it's irrelevant here, because this Superman crest is the symbol for hope, not an S for Superman.

It's smaller but not the size some are claiming, and it's almost unnoticeable specially on film, and your comparisson isn't as accurate as you may want cause they are on a different angle.

Now I'm wondering if Superman made those changes to the suit (or maybe it's a completely new one) especially for Krypton's survivors he hope to find some day in the future.

Or maybe to homage his home planet? To honor his ancestors?

This version isn't the one you are claiming, therefore you can't make that point valid. Cause we are talking about the modern and this Superman, specially.

Probably use the same statue for Batman and swap the heads. Probably a tad expensive to get different sizes made.

Now do I think they will explain the costume changes........hell no. But hey we don't have a new trailer so let me think outside the phantom zone.

Not picky at all. Its ok for bat fans, they got a mannequin that looks as big as fleck. But they made supes look tiny next to wonder woman lol

Not sure if serious, neither of Batman or Superman's mannequins show the figure of the livescreen ones..

Umm yes they do. Look at batmans. Big chest big shoulders, big lats. Superman's looks nothing like cavill. Cavill's arms are massive, he has big lats, massive legs etc. The mannequin looks smaller in build than wonder woman's lol. Check the picture of all three side by side. That's not cavill's build, sorry. Looks more like Routh's

Neither of both manequins represent neither Batman or Superman physique... They are bigger than that. Those are just mannequins for marketing purposes. You do have in your avvy the size of Cav-el on BvS

I agree that Supes looks too close in size to wonder woman especially in the arms. It's just a regular mannequin from a department store. Good thing the suit is so exquisite. Batman's statue is smaller than the real Ben but it fills out the suit beautifully. The same can't be said for Superman.

And it seems that abs are wrongly positioned on the mannequin. Either that, or it's supposed to lean to the left a bit.

Indeed. Whenever I see Superman in front of Daily Planet and Waynes' murder set pics, the urge for this movie rekindles.
