Ya it is the same ugly puzzle piece suit we all know and love, happy for its return from TDK. lol

I think a huge reason it may seem different is because its all day scenes. Also Bale is smiling too damn much. Its like the man is forced to act happy after the terminator debacle. I think Batman is going to flip out in one of these set videos.

Every set picture I've seen of Batman has him in the same exact suit.

No. Everything that we've been able to see pics of appear to be of the same sequence (Batwing chase) except for the shot in the trailer and the shot of Gordon and Batman on the ice which could be part of the same sequence. We don't know what was shot in the interiors on location or on a studio set.

I have a hard time believing the same sequence has been the only thing being shot for the last several months. In the trailer, Bane is coming toward Batman and he's wearing the same suit there as well.

I wouldn't have complained had they simplified the legs and made the chest logo more pronounced.

What about the big courthouse steps free for all battle with Bane, the Cops and all those convicts?

I think if there was a new costume, it would have been spotted by now. Filming is over in November and we're at the end of September. If there is a new suit, it's coming in at the tail end of the movie, which would make it rather pointless. If they're going to give Batman a new suit, then use it for the bulk of the movie.

But I don't think he is getting one.

We've no idea if thats part of the same sequence or not, I however believe it is.

I didn't say all of set pics where of the same sequence, just the ones involving the TDK suit. At least we can all agree on wanting a new and improved suit

At this point I feel a new suit is a pipe dream, it ain't happening. Although unlikely, Catwoman having another suit that we haven't seen seems more plausible.

In the first promotional image we got of TDKR featured the TDK Batsuit.

The teaser trailer Batman is fighting Bane in the TDK suit.

The shots in Pittsburgh of Batman fighting Bane on the steps, a completely different scene from the teaser, featured the TDK suit.

Ice river bed with Batman and Gordon, he's wearing the TDK suit there.

We've just recently seen pics of Batman, Gordon and Selina. Once again, Batman is wearing the TDK suit. It's not the same scene as above like people suggest because look at Gordon's pants. On the ice bridge with Batman he's wearing Khakis, in the new set of pics with Catwoman Gordon's pants are a darker gray.

Finally, what suit is Batman wearing in the new anti-air craft flying vehicle? The Dark Knight suit.

So there's about 5 different scenes, give or take that prominently features Batman in TDK garb.

1. Teaser Bane fight
2. Steps Bane/Cops/Mercenaries fight
3. Batman and Gordon on ice
4. Batman, Gordon, Catwoman
5. Batman in new flying air craft vehicle









It ain't happening, atleast I don't think so. In June of 2007, over a year before TDK this Dark Knight suit was unveiled and promoted. Toy companies even showcased it. Here we are, only 10 months away from TDKR and there's been nada in terms of even a hint at a new suit.

Yeah, I thought maybe there would be a new suit, like in TDK since the dangers have increased. Then there's the fact that every film to date has had a brand new suit, some even featured two different ones in the same film. There was a tradition, now I think that's over. Look at how many scenes there are against Bane in TDK. Atleast two. Did we ever see Batman fight the Joker in the Batman Begins suit? Nope. The Begins suit was shown in one scene, and briefly, very briefly in two others then was never seen again.


I'll leave you guys with this, the beginning of the end.

I don't think it's going to change so deal with it.

I don't think they'll mind re-releasing the same 2008 molds they've been sitting on. They won't need new tooling and it won't cost a thing to repack em.

As far as Batman goes, I expect to see the same things that I saw on shelves in 2008 and 2009. Nothing new here.

Yes, unfortunately the prospects for a new suit are pretty much nonexistent at this point.

Though I hate to say it, it's time for somebody to take this thread out back and put a bullet in it.
