Crane could have come up with a new gas.

His toxin was based on the flower. If he could do it without the flower, then he probably wouldn't have needed the flower in the first place--so no, I don't think Batman needed to worry about Crane randomly deciding "Time to design an entirely new toxin from scratch (which I don't know how to do) in two days time, because I theorize--based on no information--that Batman survived and inoculated himself against my original toxin."

There was no reason to believe Crane had or even could create a new fear toxin. If you want to speculate about what Crane might have done, you might as well say that Batman might have been carrying a gas mask or re-breather in his belt after their first encounter, too.

Anyway that wasnt the point i was trying to make. My point is that its a movie and looks do and should matter more than internal logic.

They do not and should not--unless the film you would like to watch is Transformers 2.

Dont take my posts to the letter, try to get what i'm saying. If you want full out logic then Batman shouldnt even fight, just use darts with sedative, knock out gases and tazers. Does he do that? No he fights like he is supposed to. Therefore people should stop with this practicality crap. Batman doesnt really need pads, straps, breathing devices or whatever.
