First time I saw the Superman Returns cape, I immediately thought it'd be perfect for Batman.

It didnt seem flexible enough, i mean it was kinda rigid. If they made it softer it would probably be excellent.

I'd agree with that. A thinner version of the SR cape = perfect.

You should check out Liefield.

Sale and Liefield are two different beasts. Rob tries to draw gritty and realistic, but doesn't understand anatomy. Sale goes for atmosphere, and his figures are purposefully exaggerated to create a cartoon quality. He's an acquired taste for sure, but I love his mastery over light and shadow.

Nobody tops Adams and Bolland though.

To each his own. Personally, I can't stand Sale's art. It made reading The Long Halloween and Dark Victory a real pain.

I didn't like Sale at first but he really grew on me. Love the way he drew Alberto smoking. Joker's teeth was a bit much, but it worked.
