It would be interesting (characterizing his tactfulness and cunning intellect) if Bane uses the trap on Gordon in the sewers deliberately as a direct attempt to draw Batman out. He "knows" the relationship Batman & Gordon share and somehow knows this will be something that would bring the Batman back, considering if he hasn't been around so to speak.

I would add, that he may not know about their relationship. But considering 8 years of peace, thanks to Gordon, he would indeed want to remove Gordon from the scene.

Because, if Bane knows about Gordon-Batman relationship, he would ambush Bruce W. in the hospital.

At the same time, it's not clear HOW Bane gets info on Dent. From Selina K., from Gordon or from Bruce W. himself.

The chase against GCPD seems to take place after the Stock Market attack and in the end Batman escapes in the Bat

What makes you think so?

What makes you think so?

The motorcyclist in the middle of the road is one of the motorcyclist we saw at the stock Exchange scene.

And there's video and eye witness reports of Batman driving the batpod into an alley, being surrounded by cops and escaping in the Bat.

there's video of that? I saw a video of him leaving the scene where the motorcyclist is. but no video of him pulling off in an alley and then the Bat leaving it.

There's no actual video of him pulling into an alley but people there said that's what happened.

Here are two videos that support the ending

The new photo from EW is totally from that scene...

I can't wait to watch 50+ cop cars chasing the Batpod.

Yeah, the police cars were never ending.

I think with Batman, we're only going to get the Batpod (which Selina later acquires) and the Bat. I don't see where a black Tumbler fits in here.

If ever there was a SHHer it's the kid they interview in the middle of this video! :funny:

How amazing is it that they actually built the Batwing? It's not a CGI thing floating around... it's an actual vehicle suspended above the ground. A real, practical effect.

I bet, because the human eye is so trained on detecting CGI in movies (especially seeing Transformers and so on), it will actually be a weird, unusual experience seeing the Batwing in action. We're not used to seeing something for real, you know?

^the human eye is not trained to spotting CGI, i don't think the general audience makes any effort or cares to spot CGI in a movie where the CGI is not so obvious, only film buffs eyes might be trained to do that

but yeah it might be cool for film buffs that is is mostly practical

well there will certainly be some cgi to it. but yeah Nolan didn't take the easy way out.

Woman: I did not know that, how do you know this stuff?
Kid: I pay attention.

:lmao:

Well hell man, they built the Batpod. And there wasn't a vehicle like that in the world. I'm not surprised by anything those people come up with. That whole team are truly visionaries.

As for the stadium talk... I believe the stadium event happens while Bruce is locked away. I mean, no matter what state Bruce is in... if an event like that was going down he would don the suit and be down there A.S.A.P. no matter what.

Bruce is either locked away, actually AT the game on a date with either love interest and if forced to watch it, or is unable to get there in some way.

Also, I really do believe the fight we see in the trailer is at Bane's compound.

I like the idea of Bane being at Wayne Manor just like in Knightfall and a fight in the Batcave, and who knows, we may see that, but I don't think what we have seen is there... I just can't believe that the futuristic, plastic encased Batsuit exists in the same place as that dingy, nasty factory looking place we see Bane in and his men at.

Yes it is, I can always tell whether something's actually built or is pure CGI. Or whether it's a man in a costume or pure CGI creature.

The batsuit and gear being submerged underwater in the batcave is a really awesome idea that I forgot about.

Everytime I see a lot of heavy CGI it's extremely easy to spot, no matter how "good" it looks. That's another reason I can't wait for Rises, so many awesome practical effects. :hrt:

Also, I somewhat believe in Rag's theory of the Manor blueprints being on this device that Batman picks up, but I'm going to take it a step further...but also generalize it a little bit and say that there is A LOT of information about Bruce Wayne on there.

I mean...the device looks different from a Broker Pad, it's thinner, but it still could stand in for one, in that case, only account information would be on there.

But I like the idea of Bane and his men gathering information and all of it is stored and built up and the big shock of Batman seeing it and just being like... "****...I think I'm in over my head".

I just wonder, if Batman gets belted by Bane and imprisoned, where does he hide The Bat?

The Batcave is the likeliest option. I suppose I'm just trying to imagine it fitting in the first place. :funny:

If Batman flew back to the Batcave in the Bat, after finding out Wayne Manor was the next target, would you think Bane and his men would let it sit there untouched not just immediately afterwards, but until the last act? I think they'd destroy it. All aboard team sewer.

What I don't understand is, when the suit and gear are submerged underwater, doesn't it get wet? Would Bruce put on a wet batsuit?
