Yeah. I was an extra in Pittsburgh, and they did a take where they had Pavel's stunt guy do this awesome airborne triple spin stunt for the neck snap. I imagine this scene is going to be awesome no matter how it's cut.

What I'm most curious about is the relationship between Bane and Catwoman. I mean seriously what the hell? How do they know eachother? When do they meet?

I mean Catwoman is allied with Bane at some point. In that scene description she tells Bane's men that Bane wants Bruce Wayne for himself as she's standing at the top of a staircase. Even if she's lying about that, she still has power and authority over Bane's men, which means they know who she is, and that she's with Bane. She knows Bane good enough that she can order his men around. But how? How does Catwoman join up with Bane. This is the biggest mystery of the movie. We have no idea how these two meet and what their relationship is.

Oh man. I just thought about this. There is probably going to be a scene between Bane and Catwoman talking. My god, it's going to be so....epic

But if it's televised perhaps Nolan can cut to someone watching it on Television and the neck snap happens on the television screen but the focus is on the viewer. so we see it but the shot isn't focused on it.

Yes, a wide shot from behind with Pavel and Bane on the foreground and a terrified audience on the background pulling back in a cringe as we hear the sound effect of a snapped neck followed by Pavel falling to the ground all in one shot. Would be glorious.

News reports about things going missing, etc. Bane comes to town, a man with his own reputation. The two meet, one seeks out the other. Selina is on board with the agenda. Bane respects her ability to get things. But Selina isn't going to be pushed around either.

I think maybe it's within that. Maybe what happens is at the beginning of the movie, Catwoman is already established and despised by the police. Bane comes to town. Catwoman gets arrested. Selina goes to prison(as we saw in the sizzle reel and we have that description). Bane breaks out prisoners. Selina tells Bane who she is("I'm the cat lady"lol) Bane is impressed. They join forces?

It would be very interesting if they know eachother before Bane comes to Gotham.

A neck snapping is a walk in the park compared to the pencil trick IMO. Even though there's no gore, just the way it's done in one shot really messes with your head. Straight up brutal.

Why would they trot him out in public with a hood after beating him with other people ("these guys")? Why is Selina Kyle on a staircase? I ended up more confused as I can't figure this stuff out without the missing dots.

It may be a small detail, but just the thought has me really excited!!

Yes, but I hope its nothing so simple. I like how Joker somewhat joined forces with Two-Face without it seeming like a silly team-up. He gave Two-Face a prep talk and got what he wanted out of Harvey without them having to bump into each other later in the movie.

I'm guessing Bane starts recruiting the homeless with his populist anti-rich people rhetoric. Maybe Hollie tells Selena about it after she picks up the word on the street. Some guy is recruiting an army to take back Gotham "for the people". Since Selena might be on board with that (she does have a kind of Robin Hood rep in the comics) she allies with him. Until she sees that his goal isn't to take back Gotham for the people but to destroy it.

This is in the prison IMO. The crowd being the other prisoners. Bane obviously doesn't want Bruce in the batsuit, to get his narrative spoiled about the rich offering nothing, so he gives him something else to wear. Catwoman's inside the prison slinking around.

I can't answer these questions but the hood is a nice throw back to Bane in the prologue wearing a hood.

All the wrongs done to him now down to others.

Also in the trailer you can the people in the prison people are wearing hoods.

bane's plan is to break Bruce Wayne by vilifying him in the eyes of Gotham? He probably let's Bruce go after "exposing" him so that he could break batman next. So yeah, I think that bane intends to break both Bruce wayne and batman. As for selina kyle, I think she's being varys in that scene, just watching the proceedings before making her play.

I tend to overuse the word break when talking about bane.

I think you're confusing with Chris Nolan being at ShoWest in 2010 for Inception as confirmation he'll be here for TDKR.

It's a good possibility but it hasn't been confirmed.

Nolan was also at ShoWest 2008 with Bale & Maggie G. Hopefully he makes an appearance @ CinemaCon and brings something new with him!

I'm hoping too although IIRC Nolan was awarded something back at the 2008 CinemaCon so maybe he had more innovation to attend? I wonder if anyone from the cast will be there... Everyone seems to be busy shooting something somewhere. Then again, that's what planes are for.

That's the consensus. I think based on the pics, he was wearing a gray suit as well.
