I hope that Alfred scene is a tracking shot all the way to the Batcave.
Nolan's goin all Kubrick.I hope that Alfred scene is a tracking shot all the way to the Batcave.

Just realized that Alfred probably knows about Bane since his tangerine days. That's what that "born and raised in tangerine on earth" was about.![]()
Not necessarily, if the CIA knows about Bane, chances are there's a record of him on file somewhere and Bruce has access to ALL types of databases.
The scene looks like it's in the batcave.
Maybe Bruce is looking up some information on Bane on the computer and mentions the prison he was born and raised in. Alfred may be familiar with the prison itself, hence the "born and raised in hell on earth".
could be. do we know why the CIA wants Bane?
Up and coming high profile terrorist on Americas most wanted list maybe?
ahh I see. maybe that's why the government also helps Batman in the end by sending in the troops?
I can't remember which interview it was (Empire I think?) but Nolan talked a bit about those shots from the back. I think he said something about like giving the audience the same POV as the lead character.
Fixed.. unless you meant Payed Per View
And I'm going to lose it if I dont find that Empire with Batman/Catwoman on the cover. No comic shop in the city has it yet!!![]()
LOL yes! It's late ok?![]()

And or to do their duty and serve; coming to the rescue of a city under siege.
That'd make for a really heroic sort of moment in the film.
You know, I was watching BB earlier tonight and when the scene of the Wayne Mansion destruction took place, and Alfred asked "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up!", I thought to myself that I hope they incorporate that into TDKR somehow. Along with the touching music from when Bruce would remember listening to his father's heart with the stethoscope, as it could make for an emotionally gripping scene. I am expecting all kinds of emotions throughout this film, and I am expecting to shed a tear or two.really hope Alfred will ask Bruce "Why do we fall?" in TDKR. Full Circle.
