One of the mods here, Bamfer, said that there was a screening where grown men were crying at the end of it. Jamie backed him up and said Bamfer has good sources. I trust both of them more than I trust Jett, who is just a propaganda machine for the studio. I've literally never seen him complain about any aspect of Nolan's films, which is hilarious. He even staunchly defends some of the most criticized elements of the films (fight scenes, growling voice, etc.). I love the Nolan movies myself, but come on. No movie is perfect and Nolan himself would agree with that sentiment.

This.

Bamfer's and FilmNerdJamie's word >>>>>> Jett's word

Jett's site looks like it's stuck in '98.

Plus he spams the hell out of his readers with all that advertising. You could probably even get spyware on your computer reading his site if you aren't careful. He blabs on and on about integrity, but doesn't even respect his readers enough to give them a decent experience on his website.

Guys...truly sorry for opening this can of worms. Really. I hope FilmNerdJamie has some buzz to relay to us so we can forget about it.

Why? regardless who is right the outlook seems positive for the film.

Thank you. That's all I wanted to share. I thought we could put biases aside and just be happy about that for a moment, while waiting for further confirmation.

Jett also was doing literally the same thing he is right now - the daily reporting of batman movies - back in 1997, when batman and robin came out. Considering how much crap he followed, cut him a little slack if he sees the Nolan films as god gift.

For those of us who were trying to follow Batman movie news pre 2005, when everybody fell in love with the character again, Jett is saint. He was the ONLY place to go for news, because nobody elses cared enough for non trade reported news. Batman the frightening, batman vs superman, batman year 1, batman trumphant, etc.

Jett may like attention, but he gets way too much hate.

I have no problem with what you posted at all. Jett may be not be the most likable guy in the world, but I don't think he'd make up quotes from whole cloth about someone who saw an advanced screening.

That's all I'm sayin' :word:

Yeah from the looks of it WB thinks/knows they have one heck of a film and are showing it early so someone like travers can give a snippet of his review in the next week or so for some Real Buzz!! Plus all of the other people who have said there sources said TDKR was really good, throw in the critics guy(90/100 rating and you can see that TDKR is looking to be as good as TDK.

Posted this in the tusi but they are going ME3 mad lol, so here..

Does anyone think how its actually awesome that Batman isn't just fighting Bane in this film? He's fighting Ras..the view that Gotham must be destroyed so it can be cleansed. He's fighting Joker..the view that people are inherently bad deep down. This IS a perfect trilogy. Its so connected.

If you think about it..Nolan's message in this trilogy is simply ''hey you, rich people, share and care more!''..cos Batman was born to shock the rich out of apathy..by the end of TDK the rich are still crushing the poor, even tho the mob is now gone..now in Rises its all about Bane taking advantage of the rift between the classes.

I know alot of people don't like that this film may have Bruce retire - but it makes sense. Him taking off the mask will unite the classes and solve the main problem. Not all crime. Police can solve crime. Batman is doing something noone else can. And im going to cry like a little ***** when he does it.

So critics are confirming they get to see the film. But when? When will we expect reviews!?!

Jett would seem like cool guy if it wasn't for a few of his condescending rants.

I mean, I love Nolan's films too but they're not flawless.

According to Jett's attitude about any criticism of these films, Kevin Conroy (THE voice of Batman) is just a misguided fanboy for criticizing Nolan/Bale's Batvoice. :whatever:

Of course he's misguided, he's only worked as Batman more than anyone else. :o
