The best version of the chant for me was the Trailer #2 one - it was really surreal to hear it in the cinema - I felt like I was in the middle of a football field just about to be blown apart...

Are you kidding me? The chant is awesome! I chant all the time.. :D Almost all my friends know it at this point. Even my girlfriend shouted Deshi Deshi Basara Basara two days ago when she passed her final exam. :funny:

I'm so envious... that's awesome :funny:

Agreed. The chant carried that trailer.

The trailer 2 chant was epic but I watched that trailer so much it almost got repetitive after a while lol. TBH, I don't think Ive watched trailer 2 since trailer 3 came out.

My favourite part of the prologue is when the chant blares out when you see the poor pretty LOS member waiting for his doom looking in admiration/acceptance at Bane hooking himself to the Pavel.

Speaking of that, I wonder why people are worried about that PG-13 rating. Just the prologue alone is brutal in a way - a person is left behind to die just so that his leader, his goons and their plan remains in tact. Very terrorist-like. The implications are there.

Who's worried about it? It's a Batman film, it always was and always will be pg-13.

Some time ago I saw that discussion. Just wanted to say something about that now. :)

Ah well, there really is no cause for concern, we'll likely not see a drop of blood or gore in this film to make up for the incredible amount of implied violence.

Man, I have a Birthday on the 26th and my final exam on the 27th, so a review of TDKR or something will be too much to handle... :D

I have exams this whole coming week too :( and everytime I study, my mind keeps mentally chanting Deshi Basara instead of remembering stuff.

Same here. There was something so breathtaking about that shot.

I haven't rewatched the prologue in months, i only saw it on bootleg about twice hopefully ill enjoy it in the cinema (which isn't Imax :waa:)

Thought I'd post it again so its at the top of a page -
The "reviewer" added more:
Bane is very pompous. He is a villain in every sense of the word.

He is a "Super-terrorist" and is a logical step from the Joker.

When Joker gatecrashes Bruce's penthouse, everyone is standing around frozen, when Bane takes hold of the stock exchange, everyone gets the hell down because Bane and his men (disguised) have just killed alot of people already. Bane does not play around like the Joker does but he does have his moments and he shines most during his scenes with Bruce Wayne. I think it might take a bit for people to get into him and to understand him but I thought he was pretty clear, he does sound like he speaks in another frequency/waveform though.

i find it kinda funny that my main worry about the film, is whether we get the nokia/mtv music in the film or not :hehe:

If not, download it to your Ipod and just listen to it whilst you watch :funny:

The reviewer hasn't made any claims about the ending? Not even in terms of like how he received it?

That's what makes me not believe people who say they have seen it, the people who we know who have seen it for real (Bamfer's friend etc) all say about how good the ending is and reducing men to tears etc. whereas these people say nothing story wise at all, not even how much they enjoyed the actual film.

Yeah, I get the impression the ending is the most critical part of the film, if you've seen it I'd think that's what your lasting impression would be about. Things like he's described, such as Bane going into the stock exchange and seeing people ducking... that was all in the trailer we just saw. If he doesn't want to spoil the ending and is just being courteous that is cool, but it seems very convenient that he's sticking to stuff we could have figured out ourselves.
